The machine will come with a double harness from new included in the price, so assuming its a used one you have obtained without a harness, then the harness that model comes as standard with is the husqvarna standard double harness, which can be viewed on their website

There should be a consultation, which will take several months, and if enough people reply the results will take longer to produce. (If it's like the other resent ones they'll ignore most of the replies). So it shouldn't affect renewals for a year or two. The negative news around it will affect the 2nd hand market on shotguns though as even more people give up. I've already got a cheap spare safe for cartridges so ready for the changes.

The excuse for that is to cut down emissions for the residents isn't it? The fumes from all those EVs must be deadly

Morning all, Couldn't access the thread via the app this morning, on laptop now. Frosty windscreens then fine day. Dismantling a split conifer due to co-dominant stem at ground level. Got to try not to trash the shrub underneath on neighbour's side. Be good all.

What exactly have you been provided in writing and by whom? Whilst county highway departments have some statutory powers/exemptions you need to be absolutely certain you are covered by one of these too if you are going to fell the trees. "Someone said" is not exactly that. Once you have the letter/report then you know where to start. Just watch out for the small print as most highway reports explicitly exclude trees under 15cm dbh. Might not be a problem for you with only 15 trees but these smaller trees could quickly exceed the 5m3/calendar quarter allowance in a woodland. Your biggest concern should be, however, the timescale given to you. I suggest reading the felling regs exemptions here especially 2.5 which states: "The danger exception could be said to apply only where there is an immediate risk of serious harm and urgent work is needed to remove the risk." 4 months is not an immediate risk based on my limited understanding of the relevant arb terminology. I have been repeatedly told by the FC (cannot find online guidance, sadly) that in their world immediate means remedial action is required in less than 3 months (exclusive) i.e. measured in days and must be supported by either a qualified arborist report and/or very clear photos of showing the danger. In any other cases (3 months or over) there is enough time to get a licence. I would also refer to the ash guidance by the FC offering more details under point 4.4. (especially the last sentence under this point:) ON 46a

So this was a predictably disappointing outcome. It's fallen firmly into the realms of the law of diminishing returns unfortunately. Not much more than a load of hot air, (in more ways than one), now. The whole thing needs dismantling, rethinking and rebuilding. Obvious places to start would be to exclude the fossil fuel interests/lobbying and completely change the ridiculous logistics of it all. Or just scrap it altogether. Any ideas anyone, what do we do? Here's two different sets of five takeaways. COP30: Five key takeaways from a deeply divisive climate summit WWW.BBC.CO.UK What did we learn from a climate summit that ended in a deal with no new mention of fossil fuels? I must admit to having been to matches at Cardiff, Murrayfield and Twickers and the atmosphere at all three has been epic! Ground level at Cardiff meant that you didn't see much and upper decks at Twickenham in the sunshine was good. The March from Murrayfield to town was also part of the experience!
