My Brilliantissimum has this same problem. Were you ever able to diagnose it or fix it? I was so disappointed when this year the leaves quickly started developing this browning in the middle again, despite removing the affected leaves quickly.

Anybody got a link to service manual for valves etc. Also haven't had one of these float bowl carbs apart for years. 3 screws in pic - 2 on top one next to float nut. Guessing one of the top ones must be idle. What are the other 2? No choke currently won't restart after warm. Cheers - any help appreciated

Morning all, Weather ok today, so can get some planned work done for our friends. Amazingly none or their trees suffered. The last 12 miles or so along the Ardnamurchan peninsula had a massive amount of storm damage. To the extent I would think it would be more efficient to accept the BT cables being broken to allow tree clearance to be faster, rather than trying to work round them.

Good call - I will take a look at some local arboreta.

Hello, I have a set of procoms and find that if I am listening to a podcast and using a strimmer/saw/chipper the volume is not loud enough for me to hear the podcast or music. When I am communicating with other procoms that is not a problem, plenty loud enough, any one got any suggestions? Phone volume is at max.

Got home at around 3.00 and saw loads of them on sunny wall. Cut a mixed hedge the other day and as I cut near top Craneflys came out of top.

yes there's a dilemma in that during the nesting season if you have enough cattle to trample the bracken you increase the chances of trampling eggs I suppose. The nesting season is the only opportunity to cut and collect the bracken.

Yes, I understand that, amazed the bit(s) didn’t leave a single mark left on its way, but if that’s what experience says then I’ll check the brgs. Maybe I’ll find some damage in the bottom end if/when I end up splitting the cases. My blow-by question was relating to the black on the crank weights. Same shade of black as the carbon deposits on the piston skirt above and below the ring. Which is combustion gas getting past the ring. (Piston hasn’t been hot enough to cook the oil). Thanks for your reply’s.

This lot are great. Like a much easier 65daysofstatic and a much better Sigur Rós.

Just open up the coil to flywheel gap, the ignition timing will be retarded ( if you can call it that nowadays) and the saw will be easier to start. Don't go too far as the spark will stop.

Thought would see if interest here. advert will be on eBay tomorrow night 07/10/2025 2100. Auction starting at £68. I can’t upload pictures here but there will be 18 photos and 1 video which will be available on eBay. Wow belter of a saw available here. Not even broken in yet 😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍 This Stihl MS 200 T is almost like new Saw was bought brand new in 2004. Had little use the owner got a job and did not need saw. Saw was boxed until 2020 when it was checked over by local stihl dealer. Fuel cables replaced and serviced. Was then put back in the box. I received this saw at the weekend and have done nothing more than clean and start it. You can feel the power when you squeeze the throttle. Saw still has original bar, cover, owner manual and used chain. Everything is right and compared to anything else I have seen on the market for years nothing comes close to this little gem. What’s in pictures is what you will receive. Saw is used and has signs of use. Please refer to pictures as part of my description. Due to how rare this saw is I will no post unless buyer is happy to accept no returns. You are welcome to come and view or study pictures and video. Be aware due to eBay policy you must prove age before bidding. No offers this is auction only………………………. ………………………………………………………………………… I will not post unless buyer agrees to no returns. I will confirm with buyer that they agree to this before posting. If posted will be safely packaged and posted next day delivery tracked and signed for. This saw is to rare and original to have scammers swapping parts before returning. Please bid with confidence and collection preferred.Ask for price

Help with ring damaged tree please
CarpeDiemBill replied to CarpeDiemBill's topic in Tree health care
Thanks. It was a momentary lapse of concentration and I just caught it. I've packed the soil up a little more. the strands that are growing out of the join.... I was concerned that is some sort of fungus infection.... but it kind of looks like I've caused it to root from where the damage is. Amazing that plants can do that -
Hi guys, I'm looking for an experienced climber subby to help with the odd day in Bristol if anyone can help with that. £200 a day. I have a day I want to book in November. Nick

Thanks folks. Yep, I found that 50 page booklet - I was hoping asking on here might be a shortcut to reading it cover to cover! (especially as it's a non-searchable pdf.) But direct advice from experience is usally better than FC advice imo as well. Or useful alongside. Glyphosate: i'm trying not to use it at all. I'm interested in views on whether Kerb (propyzamide) is any less, or more, evil than glyphosate???
