As was mentioned above you probably need to sell the timber standing. Of course this will only work if there is good access, and good tracks, or if it is not too steep for a harvester and forwarder. Have you estimated the total volume? It will have to be above a certain level to be viable. You could speak to Roger at Mendip Forestry. He knows what he is doing with regards to harvesting and marketing and covers your area. Also you could put some photos up here and then us Arbtalkers can tell you that the access is no good, or the trees are no good, or that there is some other technical problem which means you will have to pay someone to remove them for you....

Well took a £20 punt on the new pot and piston. Fitted fine. Cleaned carb and refitted. Tried to start. Coughed on choke all good. Switched choke off a couple of pulls. Bloody starter cord snapped. went for beer. back on this morning new cord heated plug with small blow torch. Started ok and running nice. Will get it ran in with a bit of load soon but all looks ok. Looks like a nice tool but I'm not sure it'd have much advantage over a crow bar and a lump hammer when it comes to dismantling pallets. I always find that the head just snaps off quite a few of the nails. Those annular ones really stick in, especially if they're a bit rusted. Using a nail punch and then sacrificing the middle blocks is another approach.

Woody Paul was right. We did go back to insurers, who refused to fund more treatment. We shd have stuck to our guns, but we are committed now. Yeah we used to do loads of craft fairs with my carvings and benches etc its bloody hard work some shows you dont sell anything and others you do ok but since covid we found people are just not buying much at shows galleries and shops want like half of what it sells for ,Marketplace is ok or go roadside get a genny and a ground sheet and find a nice layby ,I would get a carving bar though if you are wanting to have a propper go at carving the difference you sill notice will be mad , Rob D at Chainsaw Bars UK will sort you out with a carving bar and chain and there are loads of how to vids on line Ryan somebody he is an american he was a judge on that carving comp on the tv if you want to chat give me a shout Cheers.
