  2. Neither of the people either side of it wanted their fences damaging, so it would have had to be felled higher than I can reach from a ditch. Didn't fancy being tied in with spikes and a strop, as it had significant die back. Also we left the trunk standing at the level of the main crotch for nature to nibble away at.
  3. We are looking for an experienced and qualified climber to join our team. We would consider full-time, part- time or sub-contracting to us as a climber. If interested, please call the office 01438 860368. We are based in Hertfordshire. AG Treecare (Andy Gardner).

  10. Hi folks, first posting so be kind. Looking for a carb kit for an old HS60 hedge cutter, this one uses the Teikei carb not the Walbro. I know this is a very old Stihl product but I only need it once a year so not worth replacing if not abso neccessary. Thanks for any suggestions. Lee
  11. I have an old Dynamac DY41 from Machine Mart which was made by Efco. It still runs and cuts well but it's a bit heavy for a 40cc saw. It also oils constantly not like newer saws which only oil when the chain runs
  12. phones... still use a 'basic' phone, mostly because it pisses off the bank every time I go in there, but also very satisfying to know that when I am out and about my nose isn't glued to it - all it will tell me is that I phoned my mum last Wednesday. All it will tell the advertising bots is... I phoned my mum last Wednesday. There are benefits, but, not sure they are more than the brain drain it is creating. I bubble will burst when the predicted advertising revenues don't match what they sell they will.
  13. Put the winter tyres on yesterday. Right down to the last moment. Proper brinksmanship. Played a blinder if I’m honest.

  15. Thanks guys. We split the majority with the cone splitter that is attached to the chipper. That with the aid of the crane to move it. but even that has a limit hence why we had to cut the last few sections up. Yes it was a shame but transport to remove was more expensive and as mentioned it will all be reused onsite so everyone was happy in the end. But that chipper was amazing the speed it processed the timber. Filled my 3.5t van in70 seconds! even the built in crane was great. Had a 14 t digger also but that didnt do much in the end as the chipper crane and actual crane did all the work. for me this is probably a one off job that i doubt i'll ever get to do again but it was a great day and the kit for us was awesome!

    Jokes???

Brian had been in the Rhodesian war as part of an elite unit, The Selous Scouts. He wore full overalls in the bush which included a hood as part of his camo outfit. He had to crouch down one day on patrol, overalls down while scanning left and right with his FN to his eye. Finished, used the pebbles, hitched up his overalls to find a dump in the hood! The rest of the S & D patrol was bad.....
  19. Hello everyone, I’m new to the industry and would like some advice on what people do with the waste created from jobs? I’m in the Manchester / Yorkshire area, would anybody know somewhere I can take green waste / wood / gardening waste etc?
  20. Ife an entec tree bustard in the container , it would wipe the floor with the above machines , eats what ever it can get through the infeed chute
  21. It will called the Green-wolf 150P I would buy it solely to have something to complain about as since buying an Evo165D my life has been too quiet and stress free...
  22. Put it all back together today and worked first time.. must of just got water in somewhere it shouldn't. At least I have a good excuse not to trim hedges in torrential rain now...
  23. Why does that grease have a seal pic on tin but now you say it does not contain rendered clubbed seals that's false advertising!
  24. Evening all. I am no electrician but for the love of me i cant seem to have the light cable for the chipper last more than a moth or so before coming apart internally and not working! The wires all end up ripping off from the connectors (where screwed in). This is on the truck end. The chipper end never comes off but that seems to be always loose and also creates a bad connection. added together its a real pain in the ass! Has anybody come up with a better solution? Anyone run the wireless ones? or any advice/ products that last? Many thanks

2012 Mitsubishi Fuso Canter – NO MOT 137,604 Miles collection from London. Selling my Mitsubishi Fuso Canter as it has recently failed its MOT. Please check the photos for full details of the failure points. The truck also has an engine fault related to the EGR system. I’ve been quoted around £2,000 for the repair work, and with the ongoing ULEZ charges it’s no longer viable for me to keep it. It feels like a real shame to scrap it, as someone with better mechanical knowledge than me could turn this into a great project or a bargain work truck. Ideal for: Mechanics looking for a project Spares or repairs Anyone wanting a solid truck at a low price open to offers. thanks!!

Easy to load and unload. we do have a trailer we have been using to transport it and would consider selling it as a package if the price is right. Happy to do a demo or send videos of it working.
