  2. Check out Matt Watson from Carwow. He has a few vids on YouTube where he has imported Jimmy 3 and 5 door from Japan. They look great tbh.
  3. Customer wanted the logs cut smaller and stacked a bit neater. Ignore the long ones, think those are getting chipped in a week or two, and the noodled quarters might be tipped as mostly rotten. Seemed a good time as any to do the comparason video between the 2511's. The clone has 3/8" full chisel while the Echo has a Stihl 1/4" pm3. Clone starts every pull - Echo only when I remember the stupid slide stop switch! Echo bogs a lot, I remeber it being better on the 3/8. VID-20260209-WA0026.mp4 Clone has a slightly larger cut VID-20260209-WA0027.mp4 I greatly prefer the 3/8FC chain and the clones stop switch, and I think with the bigger exhaust it has more power. The PM3 chain works but I wouldnt buy it again..
  4. can't go wrong with most tbh, if it sounds good, holds oil, doesn't leak and digs! buy it. today I through a track for the first time in a few years I think, big boulders under leaf litter and fly tipping. luckily I now have a Dave, my right hand man who was a fitter for 15 years and operates everything, I ate lunch, he put the track on.
  5. I can find Oak and DF at a Military Surplus described as "Docking Blocks".
  6. All of which is about the rubbers, not the idle. My 2010 261 is manual carb, I don't know if a 2015 saw would be manual or mtronic?
  7. Might be Biennial Cropping. Some varieties are more prone to it. One of ours does it, it's a bit annoying. Laxton’s Superb I think it is. Lovely big tasty apple, every two years!

  9. Wordle 1,696 3/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟩 ⬜⬜⬜⬜🟩 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 Clean
  10. Lambs liver, mash, greens and gravy!
  11. A two part epoxy would be my choice as it has great fuel resistance and as its a bit thicker, theres no risk of it seeping anywhere. Before that I would lightly abrade the surface to help it stick.
  12. I lied about running great. Early on the recoil spring snapped, likely user error as I have had to adjust it before. Anyway after bending a new tang on the end and she was fine after that. I'll get a new one ordered along with spares for my 020t and 2511.
  13. Sweden, about 9k, project with papers to import
  14. Nothing like being happy in your life . 🙂
  15. Oh I completely agree, seens the police are useless , however in this day and age you will get someone stab u in the back by filming it... the stuff you could get away with you cant and because the police are biased - ie all this so called mental health shit, or they came from a bad home etc means that the police are geared up to protect the criminal, including the justice system and prisons...there the worst as the moj are so scared to be sued by a prisoner that they will bend over backwards for them. Nothing will change until u get rid of the human rights shite. Maybe then il happily get involved but unless my life's in danger , I couldnt be bothered .
  16. Morning all, Hopefully finishing last week’s job off if rain not too bad. I was never the best at branch walking, and pruning beech in the wet is not my greatest ability. Have a good week
  17. Any chance of getting mine on too? Name is Duncan Currie...
  18. Yesterday
  19. Cheeky cnut, I've got all of 4 months yet.
  20. Nah, lime buds look like little boxing gloves.
  21. Lovely day here, saw a brimstone and a peacock butterfly on the dog walk.
  22. Anyway I have tried to explain to him that 40" diameter lumps of stem will not go through a 6" chipper. Yes they can be cut smaller to be liftable and movable, but thats not what a 6" chipper is for. Grass muddy slope up to driveway, muddy trail down into woodland/swamp.
  23. Sorry, missed the unidirectional part. No, I use standard pulleys, sometimes with multiple sheaves depending on the situation. I can’t honestly remember working with anyone using Unidirectional ones.
  24. Trip out into Oslo today. Needed to get some new snowboard boots so decided to get the ferry into the city and take the dog for a bit of a training trip. She was pretty good and chilled for the most part.
  25. Topping saws? Completed it mate.
  26. Last week
  27. Can we talk about underrated bands in this thread too? Idlewild are excellent (and I think pretty well known) but don’t show the signs of conventional success. I’ve got YouTube videos with more views than them. Mick Dempsey has more followers on instagram. Make it make sense. I’d have given a kidney to be at the Iona show.
