  2. The tree is only a problem if it is a risk. Or offensive to the eye. Otherwise it is and will incresingly be good habitat for bug and birds. A good topping mught leave it safe for a few years, but will accelerate its decline, even if it appears to reinvigrate it temporarily. It might then be possible to leave it to disintegrate slowly and safely. Might be an idea to plant a replacement (I suggest Claret Ash) behind it to get it established for the future.
  3. I bought a fairly expensive battery jump pack (fairly large Noco one). Doesn't work. Smart shit is mostly shit.
  4. Good chance this overpopulated islnd will not find food to import in the next 50 years
  5. I ordered (Karona) direct from Swazi NZ and it arrived in 4 days. I did get shafted with import tax though, which made it £40 more than the UK price!

  7. When i think back 21 year's ago when we had the twins I was knackered all the time as I had my son and the wife had my daughter in seperate bedrooms so they didn't keep waking each other up. Mr daughter had a cry like someone scrapped a blackboard with their nails, gives me the shivers now 😆
  8. I’m tipping honey fungus. Something looked different though. I’ll check for the bootstraps

  10. It's normally in the track motor, the feed only goes to half the pistons in high speed, so doubling the rpm and halving the torque. The trouble with increasing the pump capacity is that everything downstream has to be capable of taking the extra flow, pipes, spools and motors, else the oil gets too hot. and of course the motor and spools have to be rated for the increased flow. I had this problem to deal with on a machine my predecessor had had built and he had just added an oil cooler which didn't solve anything really. I found the spool valves for tracking the Forst too coarse and sudden compared with the Jensen and Greenmech tracked machines but we had the first two tr6s I think.
  11. Any one think that the taking the worst bits of a jenson and combining it with their worst bits and making a Forst had anything to do with the decline ?

  13. No. Seems it’s YOU spending “too much time on YouTube” you womper 😄
  14. if your aim and power are great then you should be set, no? Unless that shite timing means you’re not very accurate, in which case it sounds like your aim is, in fact, shite. Listen, don’t speak.
  15. This is Hawthorne wine. Anyone tried it before? I'm curious as to how it's going to turn out. It's very early days, but based on the taste I had last night when transferring to the demijohn, it's promising. Seemed to have a good amount of tannin and acidity. Bit sweet though so I hope that'll ferment out.

    Isuzu vs Toyota

i had a DMax, tbh hated it. Looked good but wasnt particularly good at much else. Got a dodge ram now. Love it. Does everything effortlessly. Only down side is poor MPG. But 5.7 V8 so to be expected!
  18. b22 is a good machine. so this should also. Be interested to know if the bearings on the b22 could be upgraded to these?
  19. Still running an 066 here. Thing comes out a few times a year, does the job, hard to justify the money on a new replacement. One thing that would be better is the filter, the 066 and the 461 air filter get clogged up with dust double quick. My 550xp never needs attention in that department.
  20. I know it tickles me pink when you go at it with Scottish Dave 😁
  21. Keep it coming, fingers crossed all will be sorted soon.
  22. Just to update and incase this helps anyone; the flywheel will come out without having to remove the top cover; so hats off to the engineer; going to try get bearings pressed on and off tomorrow. Def play in one of the bearings; just hope its the bearings and not the shaft.

    Chickens?

No sign of the ferret but shot a load of rats. No further fowl fatalities. IMG_6157.mov This white one (clutch sibling to the posh rooster) doesn’t shag the others but does make this noise. Another rooster?

  26. Who said anything about cutting? He just needs a cool looking avatar picture for his ‘socials’ profiles. 🤣 If you can get a bar to actually fit, next step is to cut the sleeves off an old formal shirt and buy some elasticated braces!
  27. Be careful with eBay. They have modified their consumer protection policies to the point where a buyer merely had to suggest foil play on the sellers part and eBay will refund them, with little or no chance of the item being sent back. Havent had this experience myself but got reading a long thread of complaints which I visited over another matter. Seems you need to basically make a small documentary filming yourself showing the saw running, packing it (could be tricky if it’s still hot) and taking it to the post office. Obviously less risky for non mechanical or electrical items such as a door stop or a set of coasters, but I’d be very dubious of using them for saws etc. As a buyer, crack on!
