  2. When the grunts came back from the Vietnam war they would fill them full of antibiotics before they went home. I don't care how much money someone thinks they have, They ain't infecting my bitches.
  3. I do agree to a good extent. You wouldn't expect a chain to do seven months without being sharpened. But manufacturers should be pushing to be more and more idiot proof, lest they rest on their laurels instead.

  5. Good man, I respect him all the more for it. Wish him well from me.
  6. Hi, I’m Looking for an ID on these. both located on beech trees. I'm was thinking Kretzschmaria, however I am unsure due to the texture being quite porous and it is pretty tough not brittle. I have also found the same black lumps lying in the woodland away from any trees and not connected to anything. cheers
  7. I'm now moving into engaging freelancers more than being one so that was clever of me.
  8. I agree with that. You will probably struggle to get permission due to health and safety etc. No one is really going to grant permission to go and climb as they would get sued to death if something bad happened. I did a bit of rec climbing in the local woods while training in college, just make sure you have someone to spot you at the very least.
  9. That day didn't go as planned! Did the Disco but it needs a tyre and wheel alignment so left it at home and went back to Retford in the toy car and got a puncture half a mile out! Dear tyres those Hoosiers too! Then sat deciding where to get for a drink but got called to the FIL's, he has cancer and is bad! Waited for ambulance and now sat waiting for news! Tom coming up tomorrow in truck with Jack to collect wheel which means I'll have driven over 300 miles buggering about!
  10. I was never into his music but he was a funny fcker and a right bit of a character. RIP

  12. Sandstone buried in timber is known to attract brand new 36" chains. Pointless trying to sharpen them, straight in the bin.
  13. Hi,my leylandi have started going grow and dying off from the base .this is affecting all trees in a row about 10,any help greatly appreciated MOV_0841.mp4
  14. That magnolia looks like one I had at my previous house. The thing just puts on loads of growth each year and needs thinning out often to keep it at a manageable size. It isn't sniffy at when or how much in my experience.
  15. And now a little song sung by my old next door neighbor.
  16. dvla have always been problematic, you could phone on ten successive days, ask the exact same question and get a different answer each time. I recall one instance when you had to surrender the old tax disc to got a refund for the remaining duty, they asked for "recorded delivery" with a signature upon receipt, which I duly complied with, over a month passes and I have yet to receive my refund, so I phone them, 3,1/2 days later somebody actually answered the phone and informed it was lost? "But you signed for it, so it wasn't lost in post at all was it,?" a brief silence ensued,, she then said,, "no it was lost internally" "Ok, what happens now?" "no disc, no refund I'm afraid" wankers!! now they have a different scheme whereby the tax cannot be transferred with change of ownership of the vehicle. and the present owner gets back any full remaining months duty, and the new owner has to tax from the beginning of the month he wishes to use the vehicle from, the current month has been paid for already by the previous owner, but if new owner needs to use the vehicle immediately he has to backdate it to the beginning of the already paid for month. and your refund is calculated from the date they deal with it, so if they "lose it" that's never. I told dvla long ago ,I usually like being kissed when I'm getting fecked.
  17. Subcontract climber wanted for sectional dismantle of a Scott’s pine - one days hire. DE7 area. Can be cut, drop and leave and I’ll sort the rest. or bring a chipper and get paid for it.
  18. I’m glad the uk never went that far.

  20. Their system is a lot more regulated compared to the UK in my experience, if you subcontract work from another company they may not v=be able to pay you without the right tax documentation

Valtra Valmet 6350 Igland 60 Winch (used for 1 job) Quickie Loader with Grab and Bucket Owned by myself for a few years now being used for winching and yard work. No longer working in the industry so time to sell. Grab has seen next to no use along with the Winch. Bucket is well used. Mud flap missing Front mesh grill has seen better days but I never changed it due to use in the woods just incase. Great tractor, starts instantly and no smoke. I will have it looked over again before sale to make sure all is ok and pass mechanic details onto the potential buyer.
