cordless angle grinder? As above, repairing fences manualyl is pretty soul destroying. Replacing the odd post is fine, but if its more than that (and it must be if the wire is rusting) its getting to the stage of full replacement.

Look I'll admit its a bit weird. But why did it leave two saws dry as a done and hot within a short space of time. Replacing bars and saws is expensive and not something I want to experiment with. Im going to try gator oil next. Ive used petrol or acetone with a brass wire brush. Horrible job though.

Oh, was waiting for it all to kick off here last night, nothing. Apparently a 15 year old school girl was sexually assaulted on a train to Aberdeen this week. No reports of that assault on here.... perhaps because the attacker was a white man which makes it more tolerable to some?

I think that's the 250 Villiers, as the 350 had a single exhaust port, all the 250,s had two, but that's a beauty and I would love to own one. If you still had it I'd be worrying the life from you trying to buy it.

Get it gone on EBay to try and recover some of your losses and buy a decent machine, Husqvarna K760/770 or oil guard version even better, by far the best power cutter on the market.

Remember most of Europe has been on summer shutdown, which is effectively 6 weeks. 3/4 weeks for McCormick, 3/4 weeks for whoever makes the casting or machining, then shipping if it's FedEx a couple of days, pallets are 2/3 weeks unless you have volume then a week.

Worth talking to your broker, our fleetplan covers any driver with no age restriction and also added in sdp use just in case they get stopped driving outside of normal working hours. Bob

If you hammer it it’ll likely croak, they (genuinely) don’t respond well to heavy pruning.

They look bloody good. Ebay might be an option as collection only or delivery for a fee, or the likes of Etsy, I've sold a few turned bits on Etsy. Other than that, getting word out via friends and family/work colleagues is another option, as well as the above local stuff

Who buys Norway Spruce and Thuja in the Southwest?
Amarus replied to Paul73's topic in Forestry and Woodland management
If it is reasonable quality and quantity you could try John Jenkins at David James. Link to last year's auction: Just a moment... WWW.CHARTEREDSURVEYORS.DAVID-JAMES.CO.UK He could do with some support, to be honest. -

After a whole week of unnessasary stress.. the re-sent DPD ladder changed from "at depot", to "returning to sender". I sped off to rescue them, no time to find straps for the roof rack, they would have to fit in the car! Neither DPD or DX could give me any rational explaination. Got them home. Got the comical cardboard wrapping into the recycling. Its not perfect, theres a small dent on the top rung and the weld quality is hidden by the plastic covers. At 8 rungs its very stable. I'll find somewhere better and without sandles before I try 15 rungs, but it would give a working height near roof level of the average house.

Year . I got a couple of those . I call it a tap spanner so as not to confuse it with the tool for holding a tap to cut an internal thread . Also called a " tap wrench " 🙂

Can anyone recommend a manual tyre changing tool for small tyres?
woody paul replied to Muddy42's topic in Maintenance help
Never had a problem if a puncher needs mending anything from barrow to 38in tractor but just get company to fit new on truck and trailers., Went to have a ifor williams trailer tyre mended once and fitter said you can't do them with leavers, I said why so once he broke bead he handed me two leavers and said have ago, that was a challenge I was not going to miss. After about a couple of minutes tyre had parted from wheel and tyre fitter stood there shaking his head, he had set challenge to others and most only got one side off. -
I believe the issue is now sorted. Blocked jets being the cause. I took the fuel tank and top of the carb off, sprayed carb cleaner in all the holes and then used the airline to blow them through. The engine now idles and runs on maximum well. I'm yet to chip with it so the engine hasn't been loaded yet. But provisionally, I'd say issue is resolved.

Rifles you regret selling !! I guess most on here will have sold something then regretted it later. For me it was a Sako TRG 41 many years ago when 338 Lapua Magnum was a relatively new round. Bought it through a pal in Finland as a personal import. Super cheap at the time as the pound was strong against the Finnish mark, especially compared to GMKs price for one. Ammo was £56 for 20 back then. Sadly no pics but came across the paperwork whilst clearing out some crap recently. I often wonder if it’s out there still annoying the people on adjacent lanes as the muzzle blast was pretty fierce to say the least.
