Mike some of the reporting has been utterly ridiculous, the dramatic wording and over exaggeration is cringeworthy. I read about a police horse apparently being hit by an object “ the horse and rider staggered back” 🤷♂️. Mind you this clip from I think “ the guardian or standard, can’t be sure but it made me laugh” the disgusting sight of kids draped their national flags.

I generally avoid anything to do with him by sticking to threads that involve Forestry and Arboriculture, or anything involved with the work we do or equipment we use, so have very little to do with an occasional hobby sawmiller. I rarely start a thread or comment as everything just turns into the JohnsonD show, even when it’s nothing to do with him he thinks it is.

I've not been on here for a while, life gets hectic when you pass 60yrs! Anyway, has anyone else had problems with the blade guide on the B1001? Being Swedish, Logosol seem to have over engineered this way beyond necessary, the slightest knock is enough to make the blade go off course and ruin a cut and or blade. Just wondered if anyone has come up with a neat idea, other than buying something else, to get over this problem. Thanks in advance

The stuff in the photo would chip in about three minutes. The problem is what is the bloke and chipper going to do for the rest of the day. Twenty minutes to fill a lorry if the supply is there. Someone local with a tractor trailed Heiziohack rather than a lorry based monster MIGHT want it but it’s still not much. Won’t cost much to ask (do check whether anyone’s biomass setup is taxvictim funded and show them the door if it is) but I suspect you’re going to be doing it yourself. What are you doing with it at the moment?

I do ,if it was a good idea it wouldn't have been broken or placed in a position where it could of been damaged, But that change of A bar was a major thing , where the hse said u have to have the infeed chute further down and further away from the rollers makes it a pain , Should of kept the a bar as I cant see how long the wiring would last in some of these coastal locations . U cant mitigate idiots and badly maintained machinery.

Again, another rambling…… On from the skid steer idea, after chatting to a few people my way who run both I’ve decided a digger makes more sense for the workload/type, plus they are similar money and more versatile! I’ve got my heart set on a 1.8/2t machine, that will go on my 2700 plant trailer (weighs 600kg) and has vari tracks for access. I know 2.7t machines will move more but the lower weight/versatility is more important to me currently (plus they are cheaper) Does anyone out there run the smaller bobcat e19 or e20 as an arb digger, or a machine if a similar size-if so how do you find them? I did try trawling the arb digger thread but ran out of concentrate……..
