Take a look at Kebtek, I bought a set in the autumn they are great for hedge reduction and pruning light branches on reducing jobs.

Who is this? edit. I see it’s Liz Truss. Keep the politics in the political threads please, otherwise the whole forums just a stupid mess.

I Fancy the idea of a 1m reach battery pole lopper that can do say about a 50mm cut for wide hedge reducing etc Hand held tree shear! Milwaukee one is a bit pricey. There are loads of radom brand secateurs that can go on stick attachments but they are not proper lopper sized blades? Also if the angle or blade to pole was adjustable would be a bonus.

You don’t remove anything, the delete/remap is all done electronically, my ranger has been through its MOT several times with no hassle.

At one point we had a rented TV from Martin Dawes, it took 50p pieces like the gas meter. I remember my Dad would have a big stack of 50p pieces on top of the TV when the snooker final was on, especially if Terry Griffiths was in it.

This is what I have been up to for the last few months. American Shaker oval boxes made from cherry.

I assume it’s more than six years ago so they’ve got away with it but for future reference there’s a lovely bit of law for this. Claim their representation induced you to contract with them. Misrepresention Act 1980, s 2 shifts the burden to them to prove they didn’t diddle you, rather than the normal position where you have to prove they did. They’d probably cave rather than have the uphill fight. Nice little legal quirk.

In Ireland it’s not possible with most modern transport! To be honest I didn’t investigate that yet as I’m on last year warranty on My Canter , but NEW BMW ,MERCEDES and so on you can’t remove adblue anymore u will not pass NCT!

A colour TV licence is £174.50. A black and white TV licence is £58.50. You get a generous 50% discount if you’re registered as blind. I’ve always thought there’s not much point getting the colour one, is there?

If I had the budget, for 4" saplings I am not sure whether I would go for one of the 'names' and the premium they command, or to go for a 'domestic' saw, difference in price could give you an extra battery or 2 which might be compatible with other battery tools you might have. I wouldn't expect them to have the same build quality but you should be able to replace them - keeping the battery - as and when they go wrong. Of course, if you are cutting saplings all day long then look to one of the names. A couple of things to consider: Go for the higher voltage batteries - a rule of thumb higher voltage machines tend to be more powerful and should get a bit more life out the battery for the same AH capacity of a lower voltage battery Don't expect to be cutting with the full bar length - that will eat battery power, so 4" saplings a saw that comes with a 12" or 14" bar should do that.... and consider putting on a shorter bar to stop you being tempted

weirdly you could tell which was which too

Nice idea about the spreaders, presumably something along the lines of the Irwin Quick Clamp/Spreaders would do a similar job. Certainly make life easier for puncture repairs.

Firstly, if you have a lot of batteries for power tools already, look for one by that maker. I got a little Makita for that reason. Second, whatever you get, keep the chain razor sharp. Don't put a longer bar on than you really need, that also saps power, and with batteries, that power is finite. Also, fit the biggest capacity batteries possible, or you'll be swapping very quickly. If you've got a blank canvas, consider where your nearest supplier is. Others will probably give recommendations for machines.

ha you definately own one! door panels fell off in about a month! ad blue regen is on more that it is off! sitting there for 15 minutes every time idling away, stinking out the neighbourhood. No way thats better for the environment! tow hook is low, use to lift the chipper off by hand, this one no way will hurt your back in no time if tried. gear selection, got to be the worse i think ive ever encountered, EVER! had better gear selection on my old car when the clutch had worn out and needed replacing. all for £50K new. but yes ad blue is the biggest load of crap ever invented. might have to look at the ad blue delete. I heard any of these trucks that go abroad to say the middle east, first thing they do is rip it off as its so problematic

HSBC. Can't help feeling that I should have a claim against them for mis-selling, but have never spoken to anyone who says it's their department. Funny that. 🤔
-
£250 Ad blue delete at a good remapping place, should be the first thing anyone does on anything equipped with that crap, mot’s no problem. The rest I’ve no idea about.

Mike is more wood working and milling iirc, so we rarely cross threads.

I think there's a declining number of us here who know what your talking about. - From my earliest days of tv watching where tvs were rented and we couldn't afford a colour one, so black and white only, and imagining what colour things were supposed to be
