  1. Past hour
  2. With most Winches you don't need a lot of horse power. As you don't need a lot of power to turn the input shaft. The gearing on power train and the drum do the rest. Most Winches use the cable drum as a gear so when you have all the cable off the drum you get maximum pull. 50hp would be on the low end for a 5 tonne winch I think a fransgard might be lower in hp than igland. It's most likely to do with the linkage size and the weight of the machine as much horse power requirement. My 6,5 has always run on 100 to 115hp but I doubt it's ever used that much. However the fact that it's about a tonne before you load up the butt plate with logs.
  3. No idea Bud, I'm not that interested in the bloke tbh, he does seem to be rather a parasite though. I know he's got a voracious appetite for Moon Bat stuff, but why do you feel such an allegiance to him?
  4. I'm thinking dog with a bad reputation...
  5. Still in bed! She gone for the tea. Tom tells me that the racing at Santa Pod is binned but the 2000hp dragster still has to do street cruise! Pitt, Bolt, Hairier. Not sure about today, cannot make it out but answer are true!

  7. Rishi Sunak: I will bring back National Service APPLE.NEWS Eighteen-year-olds will be expected to serve in the Armed Forces or carry out community... Well he’s well and truly goosed now
  8. I'd back up the recommendations for a Bedlington x Whippet (with a dash of Collie) - ours is a year old and loves life. Whether it's relaxing with us all in the kitchen or out with the ferrets, she's a fantastic addition to the family.
  9. Good morning Arbtalkers 😊 Lazy day today 😴 Hopefully some brief sunshine between the showers......
  10. Grew up with whippets/racing, fantastic breed and would suit your lifestyle, I’d contact whippet clubs., still several up North. Had Border Terriers for the last 15 years, the old boy is on his last legs now, would certainly have another, clever, strong, quiet, full of character. The French don’t really do ‘Sight’ dogs so a whippet here is out of the question, Jack Russel, Fox Terrier and Dachshund are common. The French Dachshund is commonly known as a Teckel, not the Dachshund you would be familiar with in the UK, it’s a wire haired, thick set short legged working terrier and is certainly on my list when the old boy passes.
  11. That is why I suggested Lurcher. Dog in my pic is half terrier half whippet. Small smart and will walk all day. Curls up like a cat. Perfect....but at 15 hasn't got much longer.
  12. Cheers sound advice
  13. On a streak the last few days, this level of fortune can't last long. Third guess I didn't even fancy that word but couldn't think of much else Wordle 1,072 3/6 ⬜⬜⬜⬜⬜ ⬜🟩⬜⬜⬜ 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩

  20. Best time to visit the gardens for Tulips in Bloom will be 27th & 28th April 2024 (weather dependent). Later in the season May to June (five weeks) we uplift over 130,000 spring bulbs to direct plant over 1,200 dahlia tubers to include over 100 varieties, creating stunning summer/autumn displays.
  21. That is a shame they were great for Timberwolf parts. As for blades I used Saturn. Had a few sets of their own and didn't have a problem. Usually sent five sets at a time for sharpening and came back grand

  23. I did nothing more than respond to your pals remark. I’m sure he will appreciate the mutual support though. This conspiracy thing you keep going on about 🤷‍♂️
  24. I would probably fail this under a loler examination and put it down to the rivets loosening. So I wouldn't use it, but I haven't seen it in front of me. Hard to say from a video
