  1. Most of my saws drip some oil, even the brand new ones. Just how they are, it seems.
  2. Well at least the story has a happy ending.
  3. That's one person. Also makes me think they were installed wrong or not greased. Also said after 40 hours, not every 40 hours.
  4. Are they? Last few i changed bearings on had done 900+ hours and barely been greased or maintained.
  5. They may have splined ends with the plastic moulded over the splines. You can replace the screws though. https://www.lsengineers.co.uk/carburetor-details-assembly-for-husqvarna-346xp-chainsaw.html Parts 27, 30 and 34.
  6. All of them, it feels like. 😂 I think probably 2400-2800 with overtime. (Not in the arb industry though.) (50-60/week 48 weeks a year.)
  7. That is a good quote, and a good film. 👌🏻
  8. Words to live by. 😂
  9. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Isuzu-D-Max-Arb-tree-truck-tipper-2-5-TD-legal-3-5t-GVM-2015-43k-miles-/304239875301?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&_trksid=p2349624.m46890.l6249&mkrid=710-127635-2958-0
  10. Same for Sprinters. Mine has 7t train weight and low ratio diff. Makes no fuss pulling that weight but it's rubbish on fuel all the time.
  11. Not used the Husqvarna, but used the Stihl 161 a few times, wasn't impressed. Bogged down and stopped, cutting 2" branches going into the chipper. I wouldn't buy one personally.
  12. Bit of country for me lately:
  13. Better late than... oh, nevermind..
  14. Good choice, welcome to the club.
  15. Another vote for 550XP MKII. I got one. I like it. Etc.
  16. HP ultra or Husqvarna XP. I go for the best fully synthetic stuff. In the grand scheme of things the additional cost is very little.
  17. Is it a special Japanese spec? Can't see it being that much of a problem as V60s are available here. Some of the grey imports can be a nightmare when nothing close to them is sold here.
  18. Stagea or something?
  19. Sounds like the only people you'd appeal to is homeowners who'd feed the absolute shit of garden waste through your chipper, or contract climbers. And yet, contract climbers don't usually find their own work, they sub to companies who find the work.
  20. Ohh, i see. It's the hallmark of a responsible adult consumer. 😂
  21. Why? I bought a 395XP as a display saw because i like the design. But i wouldn't have it just sat in the box.
  22. Stubby, calling people liars for 1.8cc. 😂
  23. My 550 with a 15" has about 14½" of useable cutting length. My 395 with its bigger dawgs loses 2" of cutting length, so estimate to lose 1-2" generally depending on size of saw. Get a 550.
