  1. Cor, you're really selling it to us. 😂
  2. Personally i'd only buy genuine. It's your primary safety device. Worth saving a few quid only to find out it's shite right at the moment you really need it?
  3. My dad used to do marketing for Lancia UK. At one point (maybe towards the end with the Gamma or whatever it was with the subframe rotting out) they gathered all the European marketing teams in Turin. They were asked how Lancia was seen in their respective countries. The Belgians said "The joke in Belgium is that Lancias go rusty in the brochure." Went down like a lead balloon apparently. Savage. 😂 Good to know i'm not the only one who binned my first car. Stuffed it into a tree at 60mph. The tree won, car caught fire on impact. My back and neck have never quite recovered.
  4. I looked recently, i think gloves are required for it. Helmet with face shield and ear defenders, safety glasses, chainsaw trousers, chainsaw boots, chainsaw gloves i think it was. Oh blimey.. Stubby and his chopper again! 😬
  5. You want one to match your Landy? See you're pleased with the 550.
  6. I'd love a go in a Lotus Carlton. Only ever seen a few in the flesh. What an animal of a car. 😍
  7. Oh, Stubby, then he'd have the gap at the front! 😛
  8. Did you look at the jobs listed here? Literally a few threads down there's this: There's also these two:
  9. What a strange place for the handover. Oh well, i suppose it's nice to get out and about if you work from home! As they say, preparedness is next to cleanliness. I mean, i think that's what they say, it's something along those lines i'm sure.
  10. Don't expect the wood sides to last forever, they will break down and rot in time. But you'll be out putting it to work straight away as it is and you can sort something more permanent later as you wish. Having a useable vehicle now is what matters and that's what you've got. 👌🏻 Looks immaculate too!
  11. Well it's a good thing you like anchovies because if my 540 ever breaks i'm bringing it to you! 😂
  12. 395s come with a little combi spanner that's 8/10mm sockets and a 4mm allen key on the end. Not sure it's something you'd need in the field though.
  13. Americans would be worshiping you if they knew you'd rebuilt 500 of them. The Moose Guide to 200T Repair and Maintenance: 😛
  14. Apparently Russians sometimes fill their AC with propane instead of R134a because it's cheap, all fine until it springs a leak. Same end result as above but you get to be surprised when it happens!
  15. Oh, i read it as "flush handle" 🥴 Seems i'm better at spotting cartoon differences than i am at reading English. 😂
  16. + cabinet handles. So 6.
  17. Same. "My cars leaking!" All through the summer. I start with your lot in a week. Did 3 years in the AA before.
  18. Don't worry, @David Cropper has a detailed beginner's guide explaining them all, i'm sure he'll pop one in the post for you.
