    Booze

Splendid David.... splendid! Not a fan of Glenfiddich though [emoji37]?
  3. Bet your not handling any “bats” of late though are ya? [emoji6]?
  4. You’ll not do your milling jobs though will ya. I’m sure it’ll come but its a while off i think. Battery stuff is certainly getting more and more impressive though.
  5. Honey Bros got a deal on at min with the Stihl MSA220 C B-Q....... Saw unit only....£285+vat Saw complete set with 1xAP300S battery & charger.....£562.50+vat Promo deal..... Saw complete set with 2xAP300S batteries & charger......£641.69+vat.
  6. Anyone got the DeWalt 18v version or tried it? If so is it any good?
  7. My last one was gone on crank seals, wouldn’t hold pressure, fortunately it hadnt wrecked the crank or the bearings. Replaced them anyway, the bearings that is as tore it all down fully, piston was “ok” so just cleaned it up and fit a set of new rings, cylinder was “very” good which surprised me a bit, stuff usually goes hand in hand wear wise. Replaced the impulse line at same time along with carb kit and filters, she does a lot of work for me on the quiet so gota look after her and keep her sweet! [emoji108] Still knocks socks off the newer 410’s etc in my opinion.
  8. Is the paper national and “the same” Steve? Might sound a silly question, but my dad still buys it in paper form from his newsagants. Could possibly av a look and photo shot it for ya if it is.
  9. Well i’ve gone for and ordered the Rock Venom 12 ton machine, 4-5 week waiting time mind [emoji849] shall give my reports/thoughts once i have taken delivery of it [emoji106]
  10. Just as said above, anything mineral based (preferably) will suffice, but any grease will help in your case. Even just taking the covers off periodically to clean will help because your “using the threads” so your keeping them clear of build ups. And looking after your kit cos your cleaning em [emoji4]
  11. Copper grease is not a perfect match with alloys really, tends to go dry and create the foisting scenario. We use alcoa hub grease at work for majority of steel against alloy applications, wheels/bolts/mating surfaces in general, its pretty expensive i believe but we’re a pretty big workshop so fairly go through it and it really does make a difference we find. Anything mineral based is the best option, you’ll be fine using copper grease or any grease really as long as you pay attention to the bolt often enough i.e just slacken it and retighten it every so often to stop any foist starting “anything wets a good bet” as they say in the lube world [emoji106]
  12. Good job on the extraction [emoji106] as an aid to the future, refit your new bolt with some grease that is specific to use with alloy materials, and every once in a while remove and retreat. Some litte and often tlc on your equipment here and there will save you plenty in the long run and reward you in your pocket at the same time.
  13. As above, use a male torx/spline/ribe socket, failing that its a modify your plastic cover outcome ?
  14. I am fucking howling “J” absolute legend! [emoji106]
  15. Like it! [emoji108] The perfect half would be far easier to work with/build around. The jug shaped one.... bit harder to deal with and course you have the holes to deal with but sure you’ll muster something up.
  16. London’s BIG BEN has lost its bell.... hell fire Differs, where you thinking of siting that? Take a fair bit of fuel on the quite that too.
