  1. No i saved it Khriss, i had a m50 x 1.5 die nut so i managed to make it take a fresh hub nut again. Happened to both sides, you only need to put a small indent in the flare of the nut to stop it coming undone, end of a heel bar and a small knock with hammer would suffice, but mr nobody had proper clubbed at it with a chisel. I did have pictures of it redressed and built back up, but i’ve just got a new phone on Thursday and a load of random pictures have disappeared from my photo library!!! The finished article ones being some of them... typical!
  2. Did you stop for a roll up at the half way point? ?
  3. Not todays job but mondays gone, DAF mini FTP tag Axle (shite) picked up on threads cos the last idjet that fit new hub nut used a chisel to put the indent in the flare to lock/stop the nut coming undone. This in turn had split the thread behind the flare so when you come to undo the nut next time the threads are already damaged!!! [emoji849][emoji35][emoji36] and just for good measure it would also appear that they didnt want to refit the hub with any form of grease/lube either!!! Hence i had to pick up my clubber lang and get angry even more!!!
  4. If you can get a manual tip for less than £500 less than a electric tip then you can get a flowfit electric conversion kit for £350, then your in pocket straight away. If you sell the trailer on then you can recoup the cost at resale or take it off to sell on again or refit to something else.
  5. MAN are owned by Volkswagen so you’ll see pretty much a lot if not all of the Crafter characteristics.
  6. Bless her! [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
  7. Sorry to hear the sad news stubby. Lost my mum last year at 69 to mixture of things, shit to lose the ones closest to you that have brought you in to the world and raised ya, taught you so many things to get ya through life and supported ya. Just enjoy the time you have left as others have said and make the most of it.
  8. Under dogs bowl maybe?! ?‍♂️ or behind hoover...... or under kitchen sink? [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23]
  9. Carbs, paintwork and suspension was already done, i did rest.
  10. I shut it for 3 windows and door at my last house! [emoji24][emoji24][emoji24] thinking about it then it must av been before 2012 so more like 2010. Loads done to it, i miss it, could pretty much feel and predict everything with it too. Was on michelin macadams originally then i put it on to metzelers, different bike again. WhitePower (if i’m allowed to say that [emoji6]) front internals, WhitePower rear adjustable shocker, NRC heavy duty casings, clear clutch window, uprated barnett clutch, powder coated frame and wheels, polished swing arm, carbs originally done at jack frost racing before i got it, modified air box, full akrapovic race system with tapered headers, they used to glow blue in slow or queued traffic, was a pig in slow moving traffic tbh, dropped a tooth on front sprocket, wrenthal medium bars, streetfighter front lights and dash etc, fork to frame WP steering damper, but it used to pop seals pretty often so gave up and just took it off in the end. Rear footrests were from a gsxr 600 about 2004 i think, i just squashed em up slightly in vice so bolts/holes lined up, fronts were off a 1000 if i remember correctly, ended up being in a better position, less cramped and better under ya feet than original fat rubber things that they came with! Was a wheelie machine [emoji106]
  11. Not the best pic but only one i can find, my 1200 bandit i had till i got shut in about 2012, loved it, 2000 W reg, last one on carbs before they went to injection in 2001
  12. Cheers Stere, bacho looking like my purchase i think, got a nice set of general all round use secateurs on their site too! Can get them through the lad at work too for cost thinking about it! Never gave bacho a thought tbh, and they didnt really pop up on my searches either whilst i’ve been looking. Fiskars have been hit and miss with some of their products for me in the past, i have the X27 splitting axe which is great, but i’ve had secateurs of theirs before last a little over 12months before they gave up. Cheers again [emoji106]
  13. Nice touch, cheers! Looked at a few pairs made by ARS, japanese, think Stihl use them but rebranded in their name and colours, but put £20+ on em so are £80+ [emoji15][emoji33]
  14. Take a look at “Lenox protool lube” its water soluble, biodegradable and non toxic. Can be used for metal/aluminium cutting, milling, reaming, drilling and tapping, and can be used with wood and plastics, we used to get 5L tubs of it at work and would last ages, but we only used it for metal bandsaw which has a recirculating pump so you never lost a lot overall, and cutting/drilling/tapping on occasion with a manual squirty bottle. We’ve gone on to millers now, but i dont rate it! Shite. But its cheap so it wins in the managements eyes!!! [emoji849][emoji849]
  15. I was thinking more of a blade type as opposed to a lopper jaw, if you know what i mean ? or am i on the wrong path with my thinkings?
  16. Has the rubber deteriorated to and from? There may be no leaks as such, but as in gravity is doing its job when cold until you first stop the saw at which point everything has become warm/hot, then upon trying to start again its sucking the pipe flat?
  17. Alright all, i’m on the hunt for some manual hedge / shrub shears, dont want anything too long overall if i can help it, got a few bits around the garden that need lopping back occasionally, certainly got no more than 12mm thick stems. Majority of stuff i get away with using my Stihl HSA26 shrub shears, but for some of the thicker stems i’m going to have to do it by hand. Dont mind spending within reason but at same time dont want to spend mega amounts for only occasional use. Theres so much choice out there that i’m pretty baffled by em all, i’m a big believer in the do it / buy it once do it right scenario, but dont want to buy the wrong thing which would end up me spending twice. Any heads up would be much appreciated.
  18. Blistering sunshine here, 32 degrees i was told earlier! I’ve cracked a can of cloudy apple cider open on the strength of it. Gona sit out for a bit and think about which a/c system would work best for me in my poorly built bungalow ?‍♂️[emoji16]
  19. Sounds like your a bit bitter towards uk house builds J, they do it different over the water? [emoji16]
  20. Dads had shirleys and sweet millions, does same every year, but this year hes swamped cos even all his seeds took when he potted when a lump usually dont make it. I’ve never shat so many seeds in a year [emoji90][emoji23]
  21. My dads overrun with tomatoes, hes had a belting crop this year!
