Yeh, hydraulics don’t tend to like over filling.. I guess there was still some oil in pump, lines and filter. when you refilled, it was a bit to much. Id check in the morn, it will be coldas. And if the height is still way high remove some, hopefully it’s easy. Then Run gently for little and check again

I read and reread this thread. and that first vid of tree felling is like 4yrs old (posted on YouTube) has the op got nothing younger, that he could find. Also Says he’s to old and can’t do the red tape thing, so wtf is hehe haha doing posting a said mate/work colleague vid, only too stir up a hornets nest I Think it’s New year windup from a masterbator.... ymmv

It’s all pollenating partners/flowering group 1234 or some books may say A B C D. It’s also down to the bees being on one tree and then going to the partner tree with the pollen and you know the rest. heres a pic I took at a local garden centre a few yr ago. It may help you decide which trees need to be close by or on route of the bees.

I believe it’s like a cow, the more you milk the more it produces, but it has to be done at the right time. And the yr has to good to the bees. i have a mate that says I take the surplus in the spring, he never get anything... if you understand that the bees need it then and use it and there is very little coming in. Yes if you’ve nick to much in the previous yr and the weather turns bad they can starve, but that can and does happen in the wild anyway. That’s why I feed Candi in the spring ?

I’m sure as with any business, if you advertise your services and pitch around the going rate you will get customers for your services. I’ve been hoping to be paid to put my bees in places, but unfortunately all of those places seemed to think I’d want to pay them, even thou I drive miles and miles. But I’ve always offed a jar (1lb) per hive. But that’s me asking them if I can put my hive on there land not them asking me.

I believe all you said there is true.. watching our hives (all 2 of them!) On the move the last few days has been surprising.. still finding ivy, some long lasting marigolds and borage and even heading off towards the bog, presumably for Heather.. honey bee treatment in the US is shocking and it happens for all types of crop from oilseed rape to oranges, apples, almonds.. Yeh this yr has been mild so far to last yr, I’m wondering if my bees will run short of honey, as I nicked a lot from my bees.?? I guess I can give them some home made candi to keep them buzzing ??

I guess it’s happy days for you from now on.... I’m happy that what ever has fixed it for you. just remember thou, while filling fuel tank,,,, how much has been used, and how much oil has been used and to what the oil pump turned up to. You will then be tuned into your saws fuel &oil usage, and will pick up on any lack of oiling, that is how it is for me ? cheers.. edit... nice wood your milling?

This don’t read right, it should not oil with the break on. the true sure way to find out if you have an oiling issue is to turn the pump up to max flow, I’m not saying you haven’t done it or turned the oil pump adjustment screw the wrong way. It don’t matter what length bar you have on it, if it’s set to max it will oil a smaller bar more. Fill the oil tank up, then fill the fuel tank up with fuel. And go cut wood, till it runs out of fuel. How much oil is left in the oil tank ? That will tell you. My 660 used less than 1/2 a tank of oil when it had an oil issue.

Silly question, or maybe it is not if it fixes your prob. Is it a problem with this valve stuck/blocked 1124. 640 9100. The symptoms are, it oils ok at first , then as a vac builds up because the valve is stuck/sticking it oils less and less. you could run it a bit then if it seems to get little/less oil, try and open oil filler cap. This would release the vac, then if it oils ok for a short time then oils less again the valve could well be the prob. cheers

As far as I’m aware, you do not need a license for a sub 12lb ft air rifle in the uk. An air pistol is sub 6lb also if someone makes an allegation, the police have to investigate, the woman has made some camel toe story up, and police are investigating

Since this morn,/ afternoon and I asked simple questions , like who, how many guys and how many quotes etc. the op has not replied?? I go out for a few beers,,alright a skin full of beer after all its xmass partying time, and get back to all this,,,and still the op has not replied. my guess he’s just stirring up a hornets nest. Or embarrassed to reply cheers, sleep well cos I will.?

You can see the cherry logs in the L/h side of the pic, also it was covered in ivy ? That’s a pain in its self, Damson”s don’t get very big, pear well only the trunk was saved. Edit a lot has gone through the chipper.(all the damson and all but the trunk of the pear. i think 1k is a lot, but how many quotes did you get, and how many guys were there. Oh and did they ask for cash and any have a pikey accents.

Just put “mastermind meets the dolmar 6100” in google or what ever saw your wanting. If he done it it should be there. but on the side note, he used to be on ass-site (arboristsite) not that I have any preference to a favourite forum or unfavourable one. It’s just what I read and what’s. Gone on before..ymmv. anyhow, mastermind is just that with saws and has a good reputation,, you will find him on Ope.com (outdoorpowerequiment) ps tree monkey is there. As are others.. you. Will need to Spend time reading some threads ? Edit if you read and take note of the tone, your be ok. They do ban peeps will attitudes, unlike other forums like sawhawgz etc.

Seems to me golf course wants rid, and gets rspb to get a licence, which they did. But prolly someone not very experienced got it, and golf course fells trees and laughs then says not our fault. but what ever happens it will be a small price to pay for those trees ?

I'm not claiming to know much, but a tree with two stems and bark included ?. And I had thought it was a poplar, known to be weak and splits. On the other left hand main stem that he’s not cutting looks like it’s had some branches cut off higher up on the right side. ? Has someone already been up there?. So should the two stems be strapped together first, and the guy tied in on the main left hand up high while cutting a bit higher on the right sided stem. I know this is all a bit late for the guy in the vid, (not a nice vid and I hope he makes a full recovery) but I would like to broaden my knowledge. Albeit there’s many ways it could be done by different experienced guys. cheers

Here, somthing to think about , you got up to cs39 chainsaw in a tree, and then you get a MEWP ticket, would a elf&safety person let you up there and use a saw,, as technically you don’t have the ticket cs47 So what I’m saying/asking does a cs39 qualification exceed saw in a MEWP ticket. Edit it I found the answer cheers
