  1. I posted something similar earlier. Phase 1, Problem. Create a problem. Phase 2, Reaction. The sheep go ballistic, are cowed and scared then demand something be done. Phase 3, Solution. A solution that suits the agenda, whatever that may be.
  2. Is the stretcher half lapped? What holds the top on? Dowels?
  3. Love it! What thickness is the Slab? Looking forward to seeing the finish on it. I bet it really pops! Edit; I'll pop back to this one for when I make my Garden table. I have a nice few Slab's of Beech that I'm gonna use.
  4. How did you come to that conclusion based on what was written in the tweet?
  5. As much as you can. Whats the other local guys charging? Is there a surplus or shortage of firewood in the area?
  6. Looks like a nice clean bit. 6 foot is really a bit short for anything really. Someone would take it off your hands and mill it maybe? But being residencial it could well be full of metal that would damage chains or cutting blades. But I doubt anyone would pay for it? With Ash die Back there is literally hundreds and hundreds of tons of the stuff flooding the market. Im not completely clued up on what Ash costs per Ton roadside but lets say £100, wont be more than this and may be significantly less. You have about 450kg there max. So you have £45 worth of Ash there, could be less. Thats if you can get it to the side of the road. If you cant move it then you'll have to pay someone to do so, which I'll guess they want more than £45 for. So yeh, its firewood.
  7. One is a nice piece of furniture that you ripped off the internet and took credit for. What you’ve just posted now is a plank of wood and a badly shaved arm.
  8. Damn. Lesson learned I guess. Still, bed side cabinets will be cool.
  9. Post it up!
  10. And to thank the two people who gave him praise for it. Good grief. Uber cringe.
  11. TinEye Reverse Image Search TINEYE.COM Be nice to see his progress pics of leslie making that.
  12. Cool, I'll have to have a look. Cheers. Not in Woodlots. Any idea where else you might have seen it?
  13. So if there is no magic vaccine coming are you advocating the global population wear masks in perpetuity?
  14. Its always been like this. Far to many people are complacent in their ignorance and belief that those in positions of power are looking out for their best interests. I am far from a conspirasist but when you read what was once scoffed at, and the whistle blowers and those who exposed what was going on where deems crazy tin foil hat wears only for the likes of Wikileaks to confirm a lot of what was thought to be going on was true. But the same old people will continue to mock those who think outside the box and see the bigger picture. Now I dont know if there is a bigger play here or not, Im certainly not saying there is. But only a fool would categorically claim there is not. You only have to look at history, recent history, to see how asinine that line of reasoning is. People that blinkered are simply not worth engaging with.
  15. My brothers friends father sadly passed away and had a workshop in London with some lightly used wood working equipment. Maccine Casadei M31 Combination. 12" Planer/Thicknesser, Table Saw and Spindle Moulder. Like in the Pic. 240v as well so thats a boost. Some Jet machinery. Jet 719A Morticer. Jet Combination 6'' x 48'' Belt & 9'' Disc Sander w/Closed Stand. Jet Bobbin Sander. Jet DC-1100 Dust collector. JET JSSG-10 Wet Sharpener Metabo kgs 305 Mitre Saw. Metabo BAS 317 Bandsaw. And a bunch of other workshop equipment, ie Bench Drill, Spindle Molder. All for £1000, just need to clear the shop for him.
  16. Gonna have to get one!
  17. Ah cool. So anyone can buy one and claim to have a disability? Sounds great.
  18. Where do you get these cards? One lad on the Chopper out here was exempt from the mask. Looks perfectly normal too.
  19. Yip, at least here in Norway you can. Surely the UK is not that far behind the times? As mentioned in another post if you are proven to have the anti-bodies you get a 6 month pass into Norway without any further checks. Its in 'Norwegian English'; Personnel travelling for work from Schengen / EEA countries to Norway can be exempted from quarantine rules if they can provide two negative Covid-19 tests taken after arrival to Norway (the second test shall be taken no earlier than 48 hours after the first, and no earlier than day 5 after arrival). Personnel can be allowed to work after the first negative test, but shall keep quarantine in their spare time. For detailed guidelines please contact your Equinor company representative. People who, by approved laboratory method, can document that they have had Covid-19 in the past six months, are exempted from quarantine.
  20. This is very true and also quite worrying. Yet there is still a sizable majority who think this 'pandemic' is not being manipulated. I use my local Hardware store as much as I can, as with the Butcher and the like. It does seem like the Government is using this as a way to push through a cashless society and now have people so scared that they are welcoming in draconian measures that once implemented will become the new norm and almost impossible to back track on. All to just feel safe from the bogieman that is C-19 and is supposedly hiding behind every bush and shadow. Problem, Reaction, Solution springs to mind. Create a problem, wait for the public's reaction and demand for 'protection' and offer up a solution that erodes their liberties severely. You cant even discuss this in public as you're seen as not thinking of others. Or not taking this pandemic seriously. I'm over in Norway just now. Life is almost back to normality. Pubs are full, streets packed out with tourists, now on the Rig and although there is some controls in place, ie dinner is served to you as opposed to spooning your own meals and your temp is taken once a day its back to normal now. Quarantine has been lifted from Schengen and EEC Countries including the UK. So although Ive done three stints in isolated Quarantine to come to work in Norway over the last 3-4 months thats now (for the time being) a thing of the past. Once you enter Norway you're expected to take a C-19 test and then a second within 48 hours. Interestingly though if you've tested positive to anti-bodies by an approved authority you get a 6 months free pass.
  21. Well I guess I fit into the Piss Take and 'Chem Trail' then. Did you get a certificate to confirm you had it or is it just an assumption?
  22. I will not be doing any shopping or going anywhere that requires me to wear a mask unless absolutely essential. What was not ordered on-line before most certainly will be now. The missus already does the shopping on-line when Im in Norway, I'll just let her carry on when Im back. I dont think I'll be alone in my reluctance to venture out and spend money when having to do so in that level of discomfort regardless if you believe the hype or not. The High Streets and other businesses are gonna be decimated.
  23. Just ebay it.
  24. Its quite frightening actually. The amount of people that have fallen for this hook line and sinker is quite staggering.
