  1. Sorry for derail but is there an Irish dealer, or shop in kerry selling aspen
  2. there is some great discussion about scams on another website, Ceforum. one guy even strung the scammers for a while Scammers - The British Construction Equipment Forum
  3. where do they sell them for 50 quid, if you know where it would be great to cross reference with arbsafe as something could be done to return the saws to the rightful owners, hey i would rather spend 50 to get a saw back then several hundred
  4. lovely mog, is there any other vechicle that comes close, would the jcb fastrack be anywhere near as good, just wondering as I am an engineering studdent
  5. once you go black dont go back. simple saying but its true the diesel handle is black, wile the petrol is green. vintage hot bulp tractors or epic bonfire to burn the bloody citroen
  6. of course big wheels are better, but a telehandler could be sent out to sites to help load the timber into a trailer. you would still be better with an all terain as you could use it on challenging loading sites. or to keep costs down a vintage tractor, Massey David brown with loader or even a JCB digger with pallet forks much more veratile and cheaper as you dont have a tool that is very limited,
  7. I didnt realize he had died in a 3 car crash in september 'Also a bloke in ice road truckers died in a plane crash' 'Ironic really, two guys in shows about dangerous jobs die not doing their jobs'. well according to press 'Darrell Ward, a featured driver on History’s Ice Road Truckers since 2012, has died in a plane crash near Missoula, MT. He was 52. The Missoula County Sheriff’s Office Ward was piloting a single-engine Cessna 182 when it crashed on approach to Rock Creek Airport. He was en route to filming the pilot for a documentary-style show involving the recovery of plane wrecks. His co-pilot, who was not immediately identified, also was killed'. Kinda ironic dying in a plane on the way to a plane crash
  8. double drum winch tractor. aka fordson major and automower wicnh
  9. oh you want to talk balls. there was a meat factory in town, the factory closed but as it was gated the garda (police) were storing their vans there. lad walks up to garda station tells them that he is doing some work there could he have the key, they gave him the key anyway, he give it back at the end of every evening. Garda's think nothing of it this goes on for weeks, anyway it was discovered that the workers wasn't meant to be there and stole 6-9 tonnes of stainless steel directly under the garda's noise. Hows that for balls.
  10. if you go long distance you may want to add a trailer with a seat for comfort and a larger tank
  11. no offense but whats the advantage of spending alot of money on older vechicle, other than less technology
  12. oh thats where your chainsaws went:001_smile::lol: feckin pavees
  13. http://nblairengineering.com/index.php?p=leftbox http://nblairengineering.com/index.php?p=basic
  14. sorry for the loss, bloody bastards. as a sidenote did anyone lose a 200t stihl as there is one on donedeal in lost and found
  15. Ground clearance check 4 wheel drive check good value check work horse check reliable check multipurpose check tow trailer, easily 3 tonne get a 2.5tdi engine power
  16. get three phase and use a single to three phase inverter. bit more money but if you ever get another three phase machine you can share it hmmm possibly
  17. have a look at an older square baler if possible to see the driveline, as it is a good example of overrun clutches and slip clutches.
  18. vw transporter syncho, good clearance, four wheel drive, and its enclosed. whats your opinion on 4 wheel drive vans
  19. hat could go wrong, hmmm months later water is pissing in and destroying the house, we dont know know your skill set. or you could fall off hmm last week a saw an older lady looking at chainsaws, at the smaller end oh this seems too small, whats the biggest you have, ms391 oh thats too heavy, so she goes back to the small one as its cheapest, she is obviously a townie and not very component . she did not get a chainsaw in the end as she wasnt able to lift it. now this is just an example if people like the lady can pick up chainsaws what the point in having tree surgeons like the original poster. no offense if the original poster has experience in the building trade and knows how to use tools, and hopefully he is then go right ahead, use a proper ladder though, borrow one if you have to, for safety's sake and read tutorials the top piece was just for the everyday lurker townie type.
  20. if it is in van park it around the back of your house, that way you can hear someone enter as you can hear their vechicle, least thats what i do, though i do live in countryside and have a small driveway so anything that comes in goes past my bedroom window
  21. haha funny story, my uncle was looking for a truck . I found a truck on donedeal, it turned out to be in charleville, I went with my father and uncle, once we got to the town, we followed the sellers recovery truck noticed the seller had curly hair hmm, thats grand, eventually we see a young traveler racing a little pony up and down the road, a little odd, kept going and ended up inside being closed inside a yard by a large gate, not camp as there was no caravans. His boys were using a powerwasher to clean the horses and there was a burn pit the Traveler was very honest about the flaws of the truck and told us of all the problems. He had a beautiful Palomino Horse and he turned out to be a very honest gentleman, but at the time it was a bit intimidating. So not all Pavee's are bad. I know that that was just one experience and that some pavees's are thieves but dont paint them all with the same brush
  22. car license. Trailer license tractor possibly dont need truck HGV, CPC yet possibly ever.
  23. any connection to the liverpool van hmmm
