  1. drink-feck-arse-girls- industries (father ted)
  2. Its similer to the jcb hydradig on i saw on another forum, (ceforum). the conscious was it was an overpriced piece of equipment, and it was a jack of all trades and master of non but could be useful for some roles where light pulling was used
  3. looks great but very hard to order or get price on site
  4. well kinda, i used a log splitter on some timber and when the splitter was going in water or fluid comes pissing or dribbling out from the log
  5. whats wrong with Kerry , I am from Middle Kerry.
  6. in what manner, are you into forests, or winching tress. because for normal road work they are painfully slow. they can be used to manage areas or estates. they are great for the bog though
  7. Oh that reminds me, i heard a story about my granddad today, apparently about 40 years ago, he had a ford cortina and was collecting a load of turf with about 2 hours of a drive away from home. they got the loan of a truck that was fitted with greedy boards, the turf was stacked in the back, up and up the turf about 5-10 feet over the top, thats grand. out the road they start racing, they meet a bridge (railway) and all the turf on the top ended up all over the road. they had to make to throw it on top again. so always check the height of your load and make sure there are no low bridges on route, so long as the load is secure they aint no limit
  8. out of interest does anyone read local news papers. or something like the farmers journal or do they not count
  9. And why not?'Till they realise they will need to buy a saw, maul, followed by a few hours of sweaty labour, then the appeal may wear off... that fine until you get 'No that what i got you for', can you do that? please:001_tt2:
  10. well i also watch the news but when you are on a site and have break/lunch its great to look at the headlines and some people cant work a computer (father).
  11. Well i am not KKK2 (hope hes not part of the Real KKK) but they are usually sold by wilsons auctions in Dublin. there is one is scotland coming up Wilsons Auctions also try Paul Cooke http://www.paulcookeauctions.com/
  12. some people cut the trees for timber, they see it as cheaper than buying it and they have time on their hands. my uncle does it (twice), he gets the firewood and they get the tree removed. He sometimes has bonfires to get rid of the brash or offers to get guys in to clean the land of rough ground (paid by house owner). but this is only for decent sized trees where they are several. whats wrong it kills time and he saves money
  13. is he on arbsafe or is there another way to contact him regarding serial numbers. though it would be hard to do anything to get the bike back, was there any cctv. the owner your friend could probably live without the revenue but it would be hard especially at Christmas time, but the bike could be irreplaceable. Scum. has he tried a reward for their return,
  14. https://www.donedeal.ie/gardenequipment-for-sale/chainsaws-professional-use-oleomac-gs-650-/14111501 not sure about the stihl
  15. what a dumb ass, catch the bugger, beat him and get his address and retrieve your stuff
  16. it one thing to be a buyer, only one sale so you should still be wary
  17. hmm think he means did they use your van as a toilet. well last year a chainsaw/garden shop was broken into and they took tools in boxes upstairs, before they left they **** on the floor, dirty *****.
  18. maybe you had a bit to drink and drove home, next day you had bad hangover so you forgot
  19. thats great i would love that more than a bought present and it should last along time well done
  20. why is it done like that. 1) it takes longer to dry if its stacked, then if it was layed as a single, 2) it must be harder to turn, if you dont turn the other side will be wet. 3) why are you moving the turf long distances instead of a nearby patch
