We just had 11 batteries re-allocated, in full view of security cameras. At least our security could tell me how many guys did the job, before saying it must have been an inside job. Yeah, right. Plod wouldn't even come out. Must have been too cold for them. Shovelhands 'Good friends of mine lost a quad and a kubota rtv a few months ago, I went to re-secure the sheds for them that day, plod had not been, I then found their exit route across the fields, all the abandoned tools they'd used to cut there way through the hedge, they took the chainsaw with em!, but there were bits there that could well have had finger prints on, plod never ever did pay them a visit! WTF is going on when plod don't even take a look, they are not interested, if you ever catch the theiving bastards just bury them deep, plod won't bother looking for them......... V8Druid's my sentiments exactly James ....... just make sure it is bloody deep 'Expect to be shot if you burgle gun owners', judge warns criminals A judge has defended the rights of people to protect their homes, telling two burglars shot during a break-in: “That is the chance you take.” "
  9. oh bob that reminds me, three years ago i had a terrier go off, i searched for her but couldn't see her, up the road is a big field owned by a neighbor and it is not really used, i eventfully heard after going through a flooded, marsh field, by a ruin of a house after she chased a rabbit and the hole collapsed, i saved here. so maybe she dug a hole or chased rabbits and got stuck. the only reason i mentioned the sheep farmer thing is because there is a sheep farmer (horse) a couple miles away who is a **** for shooting dogs and poisoning pet dogs. while he has a right to defend his livestock. there have been a lot of dogs disappeared and horse has put poisoned meat outside another mans (pat) home several time, until the horse police were. see pat has children and was worried the children could be poisoned
  10. I use it moving stuff from time to time, i also used it this summer to carry 7 trailers full of firewood, i am lucky to have my granddad at home, so myself and my dad would go off with the murphy trailer, fill it with firewood, bring the trailer home, take it off the van, put on another trailer fill that and get three loads a day, by the time i had one filled, the other would be emptied.
  11. used ifor williams or murphys, i got used murphy 8x4 for a grand, with rails and a tailgate, ramp, galvanized.came from a neighbor, and is straight, only downside, had to get someone to raise the ramps as i couldn't get my mower over
  12. hate to say it but could a sheep farmer have shot it, for chasing sheep
  13. feck, hmm a landrover, a trailer, now a hilux, i wonder are these connected, if the robberies were connected, is someone targeting arbtalk members or is this a big coincidence. i am serous whats the probability. sorry man, it sucks

  16. I am doing an engineering course in Tralee, Kerry Ireland and one of their people came down telling us about their company in antrim where the product is made. They claim the product is innovative (I doubt that as there is already the avant and multione among others) so i wondering what your view is. I included a picture to show you what i was one about as they are not a well known company I taught you might like a made in Britain product but from the above reviews, it is clear you think they are just copies, i tend to agree with you, and thanks for your thoughts much appreciated
  17. sheep group of welshmen talking about a carving of a sheep equipment- next in line, what about this ooh shiny, i want it mommy or aspenarb buy this

  20. can we have a steel box section with removable drawbar and front wheel, held with bolts or pins, that solves the horse/ vehicle pull. if an axle could be fitted to the top powered by a with a brake mechanism similer to childrens dino carts it might work. so there is a rotating shaft going down to wheels via chains
