  1. Sounds to me like a good pair of Fiskers loppers might come in handy as well.. And if it was me, I'd get a small silky and a big silky...push the boat out an all that...
  2. Isn't it considered bad form to promote other forums?..
  3. take two minutes to chop that down...
  4. £220.00 off amazon jon, last for years.... [ame] [/ame] go on jon, have a look at this beaut...
  5. three manner I think, snugpak bunker... only got it last week been meaning to have a go in it, the worse the weather the better.. summer camping is womens camping, camping in winter, well now, thats a mans man camping.. lol been workin on my bivi set up as well, thinkin of havin a do in that in the rain aswell.. gotta get my Snugpak experiece out the way first though..
  6. I'd be hard pressed to buy anything if the serial number was missing.. no matter what story I got told... slipped off, someone nicked it, well it had one once!!!!.. And I wouldn't tell you were a hidden serial number was in case you wanted to get rid of that as well.....
  7. Well I do remember a pic or two you posted, but I can't think if it was set in a house or yurt, maybe you have both?.... I've a tent set up across the field myself, been meaning to test it out but for the dogs I'd of tested it out by now, the weathers perfect for it... The dogs, if I head to the door at night, they both look at me like I'm never comin back, my heart sinks an its once more to bed LOL..
  8. I mean, is there any other music out there other than that you used?.. It seems near every tree vid I come across has the same stuff... The piano bit was nice though, I liked that...
  9. Don't tell me you live in a Yurt?....
  10. Not a bad effort if its your first time doin a vid, I especially liked the introduction with the childs voice over... But being the natural critic I am I might suggest a voice over here an there, an explanation of what your doin, what you worried about how it went... Then the music, is there an embargo on music other than the one you used?... Oh, noticed the Zigzag always reassuring knowing others use what I got...
  11. I wouldn't burn tyres, even I shy away from kind of caper.. and I find it better to start a fire round about dusk... A late night fire attracts attention...
  12. On the off chance you read my post about my mates, No, they ain't gypsies.. I'd describe them as local copper thieves, they thought it was easier work goin out at nights nicking scrap than doin a days work.. not that they do it anymore, they're both on the sick.. They figured it was easier to fool a doctor than go out all hrs nickin a bit of copper...
  13. Yea, when my internet broke down a week or two ago I watched some telly till it got fixed.. At one point was watching Coast and it was set in Holland, I think... Thats nice I thought, I wondered if those who speak English in Holland are watching it I thought....
  14. Reeves an Mortimer, I get more laughs at a funeral than I do watching those.. As a duo I don't think I've ever seen worse.. Now to Country file, ain't seen it proper since John Craven hosted it.. Used to like a bit of Coast though, though the North west one I found disappointing.. I wonder if everyone who lives in the area's covered feel the same way, Billy68's post seems to make me think so....
  15. Yea I know, but I have other reasons apart from following tradition... I was thinking of building upper body strength on account of those teenagers that creep up here some nights.. if I have to whack one of em, I intend to leave an impression..
  16. Being a novice myself I use a pullysaver connected to a hand ascender.. You can get something of rhythm going with a bit of practice. I was gonna get a foot ascender but thought, nah, lets get the basics right first...
  17. That my friend is a winning idea, never thought to do that!!!.. don't the tires melt?... Oh just a heads up, if your gonna be having a big fire, sometimes its a good idea to phone the local firebrigade.. tell em wot your doin, saves em comin out on account of phones calls to the station about a mysterious fire down the way... Nothin worse than standing at the fire, turning round and ten hefty firemen bearing down wanting to know whats goin on...
  18. Very funny....hahahah I could tell you a story about burning copper wire.. be about twelve O clock at night, heard a very loud bang across the field, went to investigate and there they was, two of ma mates, poking a pile of burning copper they nicked off an old mill being demolished nearby. What the heck was that noise I said. Oh, Phil got it going by pouring petrol on the copper wire, he must of left it too long I think.. Look at him, he's got no eyebrows left.. I looked at Phils face, whats all That dripping off your face I said.. I've just bin down there to dip ma face in that puddle he says.. its creasing me.. Yea, blew me off ma flippin feet as well Rob says.. What a pair of numpties I thinks as I made my way back to the house..
  19. I lite/ light ma fire using petrol all the time, specially in these wet conditions.. Throw a, or pour some out of the can, step back, wait a second and throw on some burning paper.. But then I ain't in someones elses back garden... If I was, I'd want to give off a better impression than someone throwing petrol on a fire at the bottom of the back garden.. Bill, Bill, theres fireball running at the patio, hahah, just the sort of image you want to add to the worry of knocking their greenhouse down with that old creaky tree being chopped LOL..
  20. real life minecraft ... nice pics
  21. You might want to see if any birch barks lieing around, use a fire-stick or flint on steel to get the fire going on the shaved birch bark..then slowly add lager pieces of... Oh sorry wrong forum, stealth camping and bushcraft, forum LOL.. No but thats the trick to any fire, start small work it up to size... Oh and if you burn anything plasticy, you might expect a visit by the fire brigade. I've had em on here a few times... even ended up in court once over.. The three magistrates retired to consider their verdict, ma dad asking his solicitor how much he might get fined.. Could be anything up to three thousand pounds he says... Top of his voice, THREE THOUSAND POUNDS, I AIN'T PAYING THAT, NO BLOODY CHANCE".. the magistrates sat down and pronounced sentence, right Mr Trebay, we've decided to fine you three hundred pounds... But if we wanted to, we could make that three thousand pounds.. And if you didn't want to pay it, we could send you to prison instead.. would you like that Mr Trebay?... No, now I wouldn't, he said shamefaced....
  22. As your boss, after hearing of your situation, I'd of let you go, set you off or drove you to school.. No matter my days loss... keeping my workers happy pays better dividends than one days loss of income... And if I found myself driving you home through gritted teeth, I'd have to have a long hard look at myself to see if I was fit for purpose..
  23. Yea the independent types who work hard and want to work hard.. I get you.. But we mustn't confuse those with greedy worthless employers who might consider their own greed before the welfare of those they employ.... Theres plenty of em...
