Visited in the summer, there really arent many trees and they tend to be pretty small. Not going to much climbing work available.

Flat is better i reckon, circular blows it all over the shop and feels less concentrated. Vac bag hardly ever gets used but is quality for picking up hedge trimming.

So best to go with the sponsorship/work visa route. I don't mind sticking in one place for a while and exploring with my free time.

Thanks for the advice, Will probably go with the working holiday route, Although I thought you couldn't work full time. Do you have to apply for a work visa to be able to work full time?

I plan to head out to Nz for a couple years (with a mind to stay permanently) once ive saved some money (couple years minimum due to some debt) and have just been looking at how I'd go about it doing it. I hold cs31, 32, 38, 39 and im 21. On the Nz immigration website it says you need 3 years relevant experience to get a work visa (Through the short term skills list). I currently work for a landscaping/gardening firm and only climb once a month or so at the moment. Would that count towards the experience? If I were to go the sponsorship route through one of the bigger companies is there still a requirement for 3 years of experience. I plan to move to a tree firm at the end of 2017 regardless of what im doing in the future and hopefully look at leaving for Nz at the end of 2018. Tah for your help.

The more i look at New Zealand the better it looks. Just need to get a couple more years experience under my belt and then i think im going to head out there. This country is too bloomin wet and crowded.

I think I need to pick up an 11mm lanyard, the 13mm one I use with the ap2 is pretty jerky especially when it gets wet.
