  1. What some people don't realise is Trump was elected to spite the establishment... The more cockups he makes, the more satisfied become his electorate..... Thus every time the media attempt to discredit him the more popular he becomes.... they're just to thick to work that out... idiots..
  2. Not sure thats true, from my experience theres not much difference between Irish rivalry and our own.... Every town can't stand the next one down here LOL.....
  3. See, this was one of the benefits of belonging to the European Union.. If citizens of both North and South felt they were Europeans first, Irish or British second, they wouldn't be so keen on working themselves up about identity...
  4. WTF, so thats where its comin from...... Oh, I just restart my puter to get rid of it myself.... Had it a least half a dozen times, scarred me to death first time I got it, thought it might be one of those things that kill your computer LOL..
  5. I think this travel ban is pretty distasteful myself as I'm sure there might of been a subtler way of going about this business.. But at least he's acted in defence of his countries citizens... Lets compare his actions against Merkels..... Ergodon of Turkey with Greek connivance pushes more than one million economic migrants into the EU, what does she do?.... Folds like the feeble coward that she is.... Europe needs stronger leadership, we need leaders like Trump.... a man who can get things done.....
  6. Theres more chance of hell freezing over than Nigel Farage getting a knighthood... He stood and threatened seats held by Tory politicians, his Party now threatens Labour seats... 80% of MP's are remain supporters, I'd suggest the republic of Congo has more chance of winning three world cups on the bonce before he gets a knighthood.....
  7. If Britain leaves the EU, then theres gonna have to be a hard border betwixt Northern Ireland and Southern Ireland... Politicians might promise otherwise but eventually one will turn up.... Just one more reason for a new generation of disgruntled hard core republicans to begin a new round of violence.... If for no other reason than to keep those lunatics at bay its worth staying in Europe for that... Meanwhile the leading Brexit politician's delude themselves that those days are over.... Everytime the subjects raised I want to get a grip of those idiots and shake some sense into them... Perhaps they imagine its a price worth paying.. bunch of dangerous idiots that they are....
  8. Yes I am a bit further North West, Bolton... Not that people round these parts have some loathing hatred of the Scousers, like Manc's seem to do.. But the accent grates none the less.... I expect most pro remain supporters might well sit it out given the choices they find themselves with.... I suspect a low turnout with labour just dragging themselves over the line by a couple of hundred votes.... Though to be honest I haven't really investigated these seats, events being up in the air, with the government bending to every rebellion I'm not sure people know which direction to vote to either support Brexit or Defeat it at present... We have to wait for Theresa May to invoke article 50 for the proverbial to really hit the fan...
  9. Its going to be hard to call in both seats... easier to predict Stoke on Trent, in that no ones gonna vote for a scouser.... The remain vote don't know where to go at present, libs are nowhere in these constituencies and the Brexit votes gonna be split two ways.... If I was a betting man, I'd go for Labour holding both seats by the skin of their teeth....Just.....
  10. I was just musing on Labour's policy of encouraging migrants to settle here on account of it mean't more chance of them staying in power... look at the muppets now.. A Shambles.... Be careful what you wish for springs to mind........ Hey people, how about this, Europe closes its borders to economic migration from outside of the EU and we all can rest easy, and get on with things that matter.... A win win situation for us all, the Brexiteers who complain about migrants, and the remainers who want to see Europe succeed...
  11. The bank of England which was pushing to raise interest rates had to backtrack and raised them by half a percent... instead of an emergency budget we used quantitative easing to add another 60 billion to our national debt.. No one knows whats in Donald trumps mind, but I suspect he's playing a game. Merkel goes, the Europeans are persuaded to adopt a hardline policy on the wrong kind of immigrants and he'll be whispering in our ear, get back in, or that trade deal with the US is dead...
  12. Theres a few ways to look at this.. Overall crimes rates are falling statistically.. so crime is going down.. Or the way crime stats are calculated has changed and crime might not be going down, then again it might be... Reporting of crime has increased.... skewing the perception of crime rates.. Racist crimes increased after Brexit, but did they? looked to me like reporting racist crime spiked to suit an agenda... the lying media.. Havin said all that, like the poor, the thieving scum will always be with us....
  13. Trumps a mixed bag for me, his crusade against the lying media, and his war on the PC Nazi's, I can't wait to see him do some damage... On the other hand, I just read he's preparing tax cuts........ Sometimes I don't know if I want to hug him or strangle him..LOL's
  14. Its no wonder rail work costs a fortune.. Can't say I blame the lads though, its mostly down to management and gutless politicians too scarred to close the lines down for a few months...
  15. Yep, sums up the cowardice of the nazi left..
  16. Can't stand people like this, they'll go to hell an back before they'll give an inch.... If I had my way I'd chip the branch back into his field.....
  17. I can watch hrs of footage from esteemed academics on utube.. And I can watch them when it suits.... The magic of the internet...
  18. Seein as he's a born again Xstian. he'll be able to repent at pleasure at her majesties pleasure..
  19. I look at arbtalk on my PC.. one screen to watch Utube vids,(currently Trump and Brexit related).. as well as a slew of vids on other unrelated topics.. On my other monitor I look at ebay or written articles and pop into arbtalk ever half hr or so...... I never even thought of usin my Kindle, I use that to listen to audio books for the most part..... Phone, use it for its intended purpose when I can be bothered to charge it up... Radio, tuned into radio four if its on.... Television............. sat gathering dust...
  20. I totally disagree, I think Trumps gonna do well... Obviously he's gonna make a monkey out of himself here an there but I think when his Presidency is over people will look back fondly on it.. The PC liberal cowards of our age need someone to knock some sense into them... Trumps the man to do it.... Once our political class get back on message, after Trumps shamed them to the errors of their ways, then we can get back to the mundane things in life and not be to concerned about who's in the White House, or sat twiddling their thumbs in Downing Street....
  21. seems to me you might be better off using a dumpster for carrying the logs to the splitter... seems like a lot of expense just to haul your splitter about.. Other than that observation, it looks pretty cool and would have one tomorrow if the economics added up.... I was only this week looking at a CS100 woodchipper clone mounted on tracks, but you could take the chipper off and put the dumpster to its intended use if you'd a mind to... In which case you get the best of both worlds.....
  22. Nice one, after reading through the post and havin a good giggle as I did so, I hoped someone might help the fella out:thumbup1::thumbup1:
  23. I noticed his pledge/threat.. america first, america first.. all future trade deals will be to america's benefit first.... Which made me wonder about this glorious US UK trade deal Farage and the scum have been bleating about.... Does it mean if a trade deal was looked at and we made more money than the americans out of it, would it be signed, shelved, or otherwise?.... Other than that, I think he made a fair job of the presentation, I particularly liked his reference to inner city violence... a coded threat to black culture and the black community. They better get their act together or Trumps comin for em.....
  24. ........I don't know any insurgents to call upon! If I did I suspect they'd do a better job than the insurers though!.......... Damn my eyes man, I hate myself when I muck things up by not checking what I wrote.. Or worse still, checking and only seein what I want to see.... If I could be bothered I'd buy a pair of good glasses, the ones I use are ASDA's two quid a pair jobbies.... not ideal but Hey, they're two quid a pop, what can I say!!!!!...
  25. If your asking me, your better off just claiming on your insurgence and bein done with it... I expect you're bein given the run around for a reason, why waste money on a case when you have insurance to cover the damage.... Another thing I wouldn't do. is get ratty on the phone to those you're talking to, they have ways of ignoring you after they put the down or loosing paperwork relating to your case.. Then favours might be called on friends in other departments.... Be polite patient and groveling and hope it all ends well.
