    Yeah its not the weight but how you use it thats the important factor. I find the less i train the sorer i am after each workout. Kettlebell workouts in a cicuit are brutal and i doff my cap to anyone who partakes in them...tremendous way to train.

    I train about 3 to 4 times a week at the gym,i use kettlebells pretty regular in my workouts,amazing way to train,cardio/strength/conditioning all in the one workout. Problem is the gym kettlebells only go to 16kg and its difficult to get that blighter when the gyms busy. Big fan of anything that challenges you and really easy to use.

    Good luck gettin a 346 xp...good uns are pretty rare now.260 with a 15 inch guidebar would get you through your small tree felling course and do you for basic "work". Pretty sure the course provider will provide saws but most will allow you to bring your own if thats what you want. Welcome to arb and good luck mate

    I would disagree there rich most of the big retailers honeys,gustharts,jonsies buxtons etc have all got srt sections with rope wrench kits,haas,footloops etc but none of those have the bdb. Where did u get yours from mate?

    Yeah that was my point rich... The guy in the video was using kit thats difficult to get here

    Watching that ive no doubt the climber is A skilled and B knows what he's doin. Cant say i understood alot of it...most seemed to be throwing doubled ropes over forks and fannying around with what i assume are anchor points or redirects. This is where srt eludes me,ive very little patience and if i feel it aint workin for me i'll ditch it. Note too self...be more patient and go try srt in a reccy climb again. Seems to be more kit available over in the states for srt like the bulldog and is it the akimbo..??

    Difficult situation here,i knew some dog handlers in the forces and i know how strong a bond there is infact im pretty sure one of the guys was able to buy the dog when his "time"came. These dogs surley could be looked after by someone who was ex forces or police handler,puttin em down should be a last option after all others are exhausted. Working dogs are trained differently now than they used to be so its not an aggression issue imo,just a lack of understanding by dog adoption agencies who dont want to risk any comeback on a dog that is perceived to be aggressive when the reality is they probably arent.

    The way i adjusted the length of bungee was to tie a piece on bottom biner on the zigzag then onto the croll. The length will be just right when you can fully extend your leg then let the bunjee pull your knee up to the point where its at 45° angle to your torso. Hope that makes sense

    As some have said before- i attached a croll onto an old tool strop as a footloop with a couple of cable ties and some bungee cord onto my zigzag. Pretty straight forward. I did try to attatch the croll to my knee with a velcro strap but that didnt work..

    Yeah sounds like thats whats happened. Ive done it myself-left my high tip in just to cut the gob in then pull my rope down. Bloody shame..

    Another tragic death. By the sounds of the story the guy was hard pushed to complete an under quoted job in an unrealistic time frame. He tied in at the top of the tree,came down to put a gob in and must have left his tip in as the top went over...the top took him down 70 ft to his death. Leaves a wife and 2 kids Just bloody awful Is this happening too often now..?     Yeah my hands have took a beating on that bugger.Wasnt too sappy actually as it was in decline-dead at the top from about 2/3 rds up.

    Not todays job but an interesting one over the last few days.Big monkey puzzle,it was located in a graveyard so we had to go back and forth to it but got 1 full day on it to climb and top it. Hope i never have to climb one again... That last picture was the final piece of the puzzle... Sorry i had too..

    Why wouldnt you check with your LA for a tpo on a tree ? I really couldnt give a toss if the AA were receiving complaints,its the right thing to do imo. Luckily most councils have a downloadable tpo register now...

    Uneven chain sharpening by the manufacturer perhaps. Try another chain on the bar and see. If its still cutting like a banana then it might be a bar issue. Are you forcing the saw or holding it. Sometimes user error can result is "scewif" cutting ime.

    14 inch bar on that is superb but it would pull a 16. Id opt for a 14 if it were me

    God knows ive tried with srt and its great for access but for working the tree i just cant manage to get it to be slick so i ve just resorted to ddrt.
