  1. Bashlins are the best ive used

Had a couple of silky bites,thankfully nothing serious but i have lost a lanyard or two due to over exuberant cutting with a silky-also had to cut the eye off my short rope due too a silky related accident with a hand held section that turned out not to be hand held as i watched it freefall toward some guttering.... Dont think theres any protective gloves that are fit for purpose eithet.

I just thought if they are making a promotional type video at least ad some skill into it You could look at it from the customets point of view in that its quicker with a crane,less mess to clear up and looks like a big proffesional outfit with all the assosiated machinery. I know what you mean though,its not great to watch is it...

  5. Always someone bench pressing on the smith machine at my gym,great piece of kit which can be adapted to many exercises
  6. Thats very wise of you big j. Totally agree,theres no point going too hard too fast and putting your recouperation into reverse. Squats are great for core work as it affects the stabilisers. Have you tried front squats,very humbling excersise as it really highlights weaknesses in your core area. I suggest you give em a try aswell once you've built yourself back up and feel ready for the challenge. I love and hate leg days,if your not nervous before you get into the gym on a leg day then you aint training hard enough. Keep pluggin away mate
  7. 20 rep squats will give unparalelled leg developement but theres a catch... Most people doing squats will never reach the intensity that is a must for leg/glute hypertrophy. The reason for this is most dont use a heavy enough weight,im not sayin go heavy as you can but ideally you would be aiming to hit failure at 12 reps, then stand with the weight for 20 seconds,and pump out as many reps as you can,say 3 reps,rest again for 20 seconds,pump out as many reps as you can and repeat till the you hit the magic 20. The last 2 sets of usually 1 or 2 reps are utterly brutal.20 rep squats took my leg developement into a new level but id recommend not to prolong this type of training as it really drains the central nervous system and hits the connective tissues hard. A couple of sessions in a week for 2 weeks are enough to see your legs grow and your weights shoot up. This type of training combines volume with intensity which is enough to see the legs respond with a growth spurt... Backed up with good rest and nutrition its a winner... Oh and enjoy trying to get on and off the toilet the day after a 20 rep squat routine...

Speaking as a "closet" ginger-(beard and pubes) id have too say we cant help nicking toffee crisps as well as most choccy based snacks cause there are no sticky toffee treats in gingerland except ginger bread and im bloody sick of that stuff... Power to the gingers... One day we will rise up,united in our struggle against those who oppress us...

  15. I currently run a 15" bar on my saw aswell but im keen to get it on an 18" bar for the bigger stuff. Tbf it pulls like a train on a 15 but im reluctant to put anything bigger on it with a standard power unit.
  16. Hi all, Since my problems with my elbows is affecting my usage of bigger saws im lookin at makin my 346xp into an "go to saw" for most of my work so i dont need to lug a big saw around. My question is just how much could i get out of the 346 if i was to send it too spud to get it ported. I know it has its limits but would it be comparable with a 461 or 372 ? Or better? If i do send it to spud id get the full bhuna and new anti vib mounts aswell. Opinions and advice is much appreciated Cheers

  19. Are you using a second ascender on tbe other leg aswell as the haas?
  20. Haix protecter pro's are your best bet,had a pair for over 2 years and they took a thrashing.Good support and grip. Second to that would be meindl woodwalkers which are a good boot,also with plenty of ankle support with good grip on the sole
  21. Stihl battery pole pruner is very good,petrol version HT101 is also pretty decent but the hand and arm vibration level is mental. Id recommend the battery version mate oh and get a harness as its top heavy (the head part)
  22. I spent ages i mean aaaaages practising with a 10oz throw weight,couldnt hit a barn door and gave up. Recently i used a 14oz and im doin much better with my shots,gettin 30 footers within a couple of shots. Got it caught up in lime today though... Perhaps going up weights could help others who struggle to throw

  24. I have the husky tech helmet,havent had thst issue,really like it for ground work. Hope u get it sorted mate Cant you return it as defective?
