  1. is it just me or is this starting to sound like no one wants this job?
  2. the £150 guy also forgot to mention that the 150 is part payment. he'll take the rest of the payment when he returns to your farm to collect some machinery. they like to do this out of daylight hours for some reason.
  3. love the saw paul
  4. there is a few on gumtree based in norwich. not sure what they are like though i'm afraid
  5. saw a good one the other day, some car flying round the corner, disco 1 coming the other way stopped, had a massive winch bumper on it, car couldn't stop so hit it, disco just pushed the car backwards into the hedge and drove off, the damage to the lads ford KA was major, wasn't a mark on the disco!!!
  6. alright i get the hint spud..... last time your touching my saws!!! u have to stir the 'which saw is better' thread whenever it comes up!!!
  7. put it this way, i said i'd never buy a husky, i tried to the 560 and now i have 1 and another husky saw... don't buy second hand though. get a 560 and put a decent 15" bar on it and you'll never look back!!
  8. 2 these days!!! if only stihl made something the same as a 560
  9. stihl don't do anything to compare with the 560.... 261 362 would be the nearest but they still aren't a 560
  10. stihl are better quality... end of!! but husky make some good saws that stihl don't.....
  11. should that have been posted in the overloaded thread!?
  12. neither can i!!!!!! it's reinforced with string stuff though it, seriously hard to rip to be honest.... but we'll see what it's like!!! but anyone that lives in suffolk knows that we don't have snow anymore!!
  13. i built 1 at home, wasn't big enough and have just built another one!! why pple buy 1 cube at a time i don't know
  14. thanks for confirming mate
  15. i tossed and turned about getting my 660 done.. just thought stuff it and got it done. now i wish i did it months ago did my little 135 myself and i actually now pick it up before my 560 for anything upto 6" so just get it done
  16. this thread has to come up just after i've made mine so you can use it with 1 hand !!
  17. yeah i'm just trying to be positive as we have our second disco 4 now... did 88k or something on the first and new one is on 25k just hoping we aren't going to have this problem! yes, be interesting if anyone does know anything on the what's the course....
  18. there has been engine failures on these but then think about the amount of disco 4's you see and keep that in mind. there is loads on the road so there is going to seem to be more failures than other vehicles vehicles that you don't see many of, also have failures but due to there being less, failures are going to seem less!! so with this in mind, are they the as bad as alot make them out to be? so looking at the amount of these vehicles as a % and the amount of failures of the total amount of disco 4's as a % it probably is the same as most vehicles landrover sales are only going up all the time so they must be doing something right.... confession, i'm a landrover lover...
  19. i have been told that they will be bringing out 3 sizes again, the biggest being based on a RR or disco 5 chassis and then down from there. but they'll probably be seriously expensive but they'll still probably sell loads!!
  20. it's the T5 one, middle of the range i think or something like that anyway....
  21. yup i brought it! i spoke to 3 people that carry out all mower repair work etc, and they all said they are good machines. one said he rates them just below kubota overall, he said the chassis are very good and better than stiga. i can also second the fact that i was told they are basically stihl mowers and made by them and they make quality stuff the main reason people don't like them is just because of the colour!!! lets see how it goes.... thanks
  22. going to look at one tomorrow, any advice or anything? don't see hardly any but been told they are good grateful for any advice cheers
  23. pine i did at the weekend, i didn't use a winch but i will get one for next time!!!
  24. i have a couple of people interested so please hold on!!!
  25. as title, please PM me your number and i'll whatsapp a load of pics over or email address thanks
