  13. had a nice job on the last 3 days
  14. take a hot air gun to the plastic bumper and it'll bring the oils to the surface again which makes it proper black again. just make sure you do it evenly and the result is incredible!
  15. brought the treadmill, cut it in half, then slid 3 meter lengths of the shallow unistrut into the cube, then bolted in together. the drum which goes round has little studs in it so it grips the belt with plenty of power. the belt is made from 350mm anti slip rubber floor matting glued together with liquid rubber glue stuff (bloody strong) in the middle it's then cut in half again and it all folds up still as treadmills do so takes up very little space. when you set it up, just fold it out, 2 bolts in either side and then it's done and only takes 1 person if you look on the picture you can see where it joins about half way up
  16. just logs, may put some sides on it at some point
  17. sure is, just a converted treadmill
  18. something i've been working on recently seems to work well and saves a serious back ache and time ? also one heck of alot cheaper than a loader!!
  19. seeing those in person is incredible, some serious skill in those carvings
  20. i've just joined a couple of others forums for sparks and plumbers etc in the hopes i'll find out what rates farmers pay. it could even be worth becoming a farmer, just imagine living your life 50% cheaper than everyone else.... i'll be selling my gear soon.... watch this space!!!
  21. at least you knew you were dealing with a certified idiot that doesn't have the best people skills or service
  22. is it just me or is this starting to sound like no one wants this job?
  23. the £150 guy also forgot to mention that the 150 is part payment. he'll take the rest of the payment when he returns to your farm to collect some machinery. they like to do this out of daylight hours for some reason.
