  1. http://www.fsi-materiel-forestier.fr/broyeur-de-branches-tp-235-mobile-45FSI/ I have heard good things about TP, this looks the business. I’m looking to chop in the ST8 and get something to take me through to retirement! The video is in English btw. Lots of great tech, plus the access to the gubbins looks excellent. Anyone care to throw in an opinion on the machine or the marque?
  2. Run a front flail on the MO, got to remember on these machines it’s not a perfect solution. You need multiple runs and each different vegetation needs a different approach.
  3. The response would be the same.
  4. Looks like you had a laugh, didn’t make it this time for one reason or another, but thanks for the pics.
  5. I remember Arbtalk in the old days, you could leave your front door open with your wallet on the kitchen table, no one would touch it. Coppers walking the beat, give you a clip round the ear, jumpers for goalposts.... I miss the decent arguments on here, some crackers over the years.
  6. Ah yes, i was trying to remember his name.
  7. If you’re not cutting for milling why go low? Do it at a comfortable height.
  8. Could be, that safety bar looks like it probably not up to current safety regs. I’m no safety Nazi but if something went Pete Tong..
  9. http://www.gizoogle.net/tranzizzle.php Copy and paste a page of a website to this site.
  10. I think standard procedure in those instances is to tell the customer they’ll send it back to the supplier, then wait 6 months in the hope that you’ll get pissed off and give up (or buy another)
  11. Ok I’ll say it, you’ve had a year out of it’ now chuck the POS away.
  12. Kubota stv36, grab loader will carry 500kg, topper and belly cutting deck, splitter, pallet forks and bucket. 2008 850 hrs, yours for 13k
  13. No he didn’t. We’ve discussed falling post counts on another forum I’m on and one guy nailed it for me. Basically the whole forum thing has been done by most people, the halcyon days are over, the novelty of seeing videos of people doing your job in new and exciting ways, talking to others about stuff has worn off, also if you really want to see some new gizmo you’ll check it out on YouTube, watch People on FB, instagram or whatever, so the client base has been diluted. Star contributers who are now selling their own stuff get many more views to showcase their brand on Instagram than on any dedicated forum. It’s a damn shame but in reality it lasted less than ten years. Don’t get me wrong it’s still great here but those rollercoaster threads with dozens coming in are unlikely to return. So it’s all off to FB to pile in on some poor individual who wore the wrong boots up a tree or whatever.
  14. https://www.chichester.co.uk/news/last-minute-legal-threat-to-velo-south-cycle-event-1-8640840 I am from those parts so keep in touch with these things.
  15. Find a reputable firm near you to come and assess it, whereabouts are you Skyhuck? I’m sure there’s someone near you who knows about trees.
  16. Looks like some kind of homeowner level husky from the 80s If it runs ok 50 quid. If not then free would be about right.
  17. Who doesn’t love Lombardies? Easy cutting, chipping, felling, only drawback is the twigs and stuff that shatter on impact. 6 of them, of which two were decent. Wind in the right direction for a change. Timber lorry comes tomorrow.
  18. I know, you said that one post before.
  19. Topper cos you top trees with them.
  20. Spend a day with my late parents.
  21. I don’t see any future for that one.⚰️ Whitebeam I think btw
  22. Without opening the links because I can’t be arsed, don’t you have to tell them you’re recording it?
