I must admit it’s a bonny saw mate, I like the look of it a lot. Shame I’ve not long bought a 572!
  2. Nah, that’s Forst you’re thinking of 😂
  3. Discussions are all ready under way! 🤞😎
  4. Think of North Yorkshire as a Logbullet sanctuary....😉
  5. Don’t be putting ideas in his head! 😆
  6. Your legacy will carry on though mate 😉 And I’m sure the new forwarder will be a fantastic rig 👍🏻
  7. I’ve got two on the boom at present. They are Bullboy brand I think, pretty good. I have the same on the cab currently, which I plan on putting on the back of the cage on the rear of the cab to give directional light out either side.
  8. These are potentials at the moment. Mixture of flood and beam. https://bearmach.com/led-2-row-light-bar-22-x-3-x-3-inches-curved-universal-applications-ba-7223
  9. Nearly all my driving is on roads with the occasional foray off road. With that in mind I chose auto as it is just so much simpler than manual. I remember being a yoof and cursing all those old buggers who drove autos. Now I understand why they did! As mentioned above most have a semi manual option also, I found this very useful when fishtailing down the A66 once! My family/non work car is a manual and I recently took it on a two week holiday to Cornwall and Devon. Let’s just say I missed my auto box massively!
  10. I had a quick search and found an older thread from about 5 years ago so thought I’d start a new one. I need to upgrade the lighting on my Logbullet. It currently has two compact led lights on the cab, front and rear. I was thinking of getting a light bar for front and rear and then reusing the existing ones on the rear as additional lighting there. Been on conversations with a few folk, looking for recommendations from the wider collective now. It appears you can spend very little or very much (like everything!) so I’m aiming to be entirely middle of the road with expense. Maybe £150 for two perhaps? currently got my eyes on the LAP light bars and some others too. Size wise about 22 inch would be ideal. Any pointers from those who are more illuminated on the subject? (Pun intended)
  11. Auto all the way 👍🏼
  12. Plus the have some of the biggest rear vents I’ve ever seen on chainsaw kecks.
  13. Second vote for Solidur. I use the infinity trousers, very comfortable and hard wearing. Great price too, only downside is you can only get them in red (not a problem for me I must add)
  14. Hell yeah!
  15. Cheers Kit! I could maybe bring a few tins, to have at a social distance of course 😁
  16. Good knowledge! If I combine this with a pitched roof with overhang on each side I might be on to a winner.
  17. Haha! I wish mate! My penis has seen so little action I’m considering replacing it with something useful, like a bottle opener perhaps?! 😆 Toying with the idea of putting a small pitched roof on and cladding it perhaps? I was thinking more about airflow, or the lack of it currently being the biggest issue.
  18. Morning all, I need to ventilate my container, getting condensation build up on the roof inside. Anyone got any top tips? Have been thinking the little whirly spiny efforts you get for some vented vehicles might do the job perhaps? I await the knowledge from the Arbtalk collective 👍🏻
  19. Some good info folks, many thanks. I’m definitely going to explore the options further. Looks likely it’ll have to be a home made job I reckon. I’m taking a week off over Christmas so it can go to the top of the list of tasks to do!
  20. Now don’t judge me! I’m prepared to take flack from people about this but I have thick skin (and a cold arse). Anyone got any ideas or options regards fitting a heated seat to my Logbullet. @Gray git played the seed, now I need to pursue the idea. the machine has a 12v cigarette type power point but I was dreaming about a hardwired heated seat with an on/off switch. It would need to be weatherproof as the LB doesn’t have a cab as such. Any bright ideas out there?
  21. Moving some lovely timber on lovely flat ground. Shame about the mud, and freezing temperatures! ?
  22. I pondered this for a while, then bit the bullet and bought one of these Atlas Oil Tank 1300FDA WWW.SAM-TURNER.CO.UK Capacity 1300 Lt, Length 1800mm/71”, Width 1300mm/51”, Height 1900mm/75”, Footprint... it was considerably cheaper than that though, paid about £1200 inc vat. I picked it up myself. I must say it is very good quality and will last for years.
