  1. Today can f*ck right off!
  2. I had a quick peek at it today, @Gray git has done a marvelous job.
  3. John has failed to mention that any Stihl enthusiasts will be instantly discredited. Only Husqvarna will do! ? Jokes aside, I have worked for John since 2016 until I set up on my own last year. I worked on a subbie basis and on the books. One of the best, most knowledgeable guys you can wish for, who I owe a lot too. He is not afraid to invest in gear to make everyone's life better, safer and easier. If you were keen to join the ranks at Dryad you'd be working with two other top lads as well. To summarise, great place to work, great team, great opportunity for someone.
  4. Oh bugger. Sure it'll straighten up with some heat applied and a good bit of mechanical assistance! That's how I got mine back to kinda straight.
  5. I was going to ask how the bolster pins were holding up but looks like one has taken a beating mate.
  6. Out of pure morbid fascination, and I’m not trying to start a typical Arbtalk slanging match here, but does adding all this counterweight not push the boundaries of what can be towed legally? (Presuming all these are getting towed by Landy, Landcruiser, Shogun etc.) if getting moved about by tractor etc I guess It won’t matter but could see the super tight margins for keeping below 3.5 ton towing weight being eroded away.
  7. I’m afraid to say I’ve not actually worn mine yet ? it’s too nice to put to work in horrible Sitka thinnings! Im actually waiting for my new Sena 50S to arrive so I can install it. Once it’s here and all is fitted I’ll let iron man out to play!
  8. Was more expensive. About £200 all in.
  9. Late to the party, but I can 100% vouch for the stock board option. Virtually indestructible, won't rot or splinter, easy to move once you've cut some handle into them, light enough to lug about, lay flat on your trailer floor and not particularly expensive. What's not to love?
  10. You could always switch to Aspen...... ? (I use it and nowt else, never had a single issue, but I appreciate it isn't for everyone)
  11. Slight thread resurrection here.... But I had to share some snaps of my shiny new Protos helmet! Cue piss taking but I don't care!
  12. I just got myself a set of Grabber AT3s for my Shogun, and they've coped fine with muddy fields of late.
  13. Had to reupload original video due to quality issue.
  14. Which one ? The leak seems to be fixed, and the bust rear cross member held up very well!
  15. Had another decent day moving timber at Croft Race Track.
  16. I’m thinking petrol now to be honest. Initially I thought it’d be handy as I run Dewalt for all my hand tools, but realistically a basic Mitox one from Jonesie will do a better job for less than half the price. Thanks for the info and input though to those who replied! ??
  17. Actually, it gets quite pricey once you start adding it up. Might be better with a petrol one at these figures!
  18. Cool. Just looking now, 6ah battery going for about £100 on eBay.
  19. Cheers! Am I able to run it off my 18v batteries? I have 3 different ones that I chop and change between tools.
  20. Do you have a model number for it please?
  21. To be fair, I think it was operator mishap that led to this issue. I dropped a decent sized log on the back end of the machine, think that coupled with moving over my home made ditch crossings put a lot of strain on the wee machine. Thankfully it’s fettled up now, and have reinforced the area that broke. But, I fear all I have done is move the weak point elsewhere! (A quote from a fellow Bulleteer!)
  22. Had an interesting day today.
  23. Morning all, Has anyone by any chance used one of these little 18v Dewalt blowers? I run cordless Dewalt gear, so have the batteries to chop and change between the various items. I know it’s not a massive outlay for it, but it seems compact and handy for just blowing crap off the Logbullet and cleaning out the cab in the Shogun etc. I’ve got grease gun, Impact driver, drill and angle grinder and dead happy with them all. 24. No messing about Don, top marks mate!
  25. Whether the leak has been solved remains to be seen.....
