  1. I dont see nothing wrong.... with a little Stump and grind
  2. Hamdog LTD- The Grinder Minders
  3. So these trees were all deliberately planted some years ago in order to obstruct the sea view of the house that was at that point under construction. There has since been a thawing of relations and the neighbour agreed with my client that they could be 'topped' (Yes I said it....) In order to restore the sea view. There really was no other alternative in this case, its just a shame that they hadn't reached a solution a few years back when I would have had to inflict much less damage, That being said, both clients are happy with the result. This was the 'Plan' I was sent by email. Sea view restored.
  4. Resurrecting an old thread, What are peoples experiences with this qual? I'm thinking of doing the entirely online course, to back up my day to day practical experience. Im not so much interested in the piece of paper, more about actually learning something, is it interesting enough to justify the £500 course fees?
  5. Sorted the footer problem, wasn't as bad as I was expecting.
  6. Cheers steve, I thought about the wordpress footer also, but I think I have to pay for the premium version to remove it? The testimonials should be an easy fix tho, thanks!
  7. Ive just had a complete re-vamp of my site and the first updated version has just gone live, I'd love some constructive criticism, Link in signature
  8. Not until the referendum
  9. rough neck ones are pretty good, used to last 3 years of daily use
  10. Maybe being a decent human being and not turning a blind eye to intolerable suffering? Maybe if we were all better people we would be better able to fix our 'own' problems. The world extends beyond our front door, the sooner we all realise it the better...
  11. Most of that is just common sense, one thing I would correct is dont add too many categories to your google listing. Google is notoriously temperamental and will simply delete your listing if it suspects anything midly fishy. Everything else is self evident- if your building your own page with wordpress and use the Yoast SEO plug-in.
  12. Maybe i'm the only one then!
  13. Is this site ONLY for mobile? It loaded with massive text etc on my laptop.
  14. Stick it on your webpage offering free chip and have the form I talked about, stick all the names in an excel file, then if your super clever you can get google maps to read the file and populate a map of all your tip sites automatically, something like this.... So you always know who is closest to where you are working.
  15. I was under the impression that the average man can pull his own weight...
  16. Im in France, I use a variety of UK suppliers due to the cost of things being silly here. Your postage rates are nearly double of everyone else I have used. Last time It was £30 to send a hank of rope and a few other bits over. Maybe look into a different courier?
  17. It played on my laptop
  18. A top handle saw, used on the ground!- Someone will arrive soon to set your execution date!
  19. Lawn seed is cheap, throw some around.
  20. I read it wrong to start with! slightly below is a no-go. slightly above is ideal IMO
  21. I do the same as you, I have a database of peoples names who have registered an interest in receiving the chip. When they fill out the form on my site, it auto responds with an email, laying out the terms and conditions. I.e You must be there to help unload, delivery is for loads between x-y cubic metres, etc etc Takes away any nasty surprises, its also a great way of getting your name out, meeting people in your local area. Its a chance to make an impression and hand out a business card or two.
  22. Anyone use these as form of advertising? I.e stick a small brand on a stump before you leave? Thinking along the lines of those 'installed by' plaques you see on fence panels.
  23. You should see my third leg shake when the adrenaline kicks in!
  24. I'm exactly the same with Ladders! its a bit silly really... In relation to the OP, climbing since October is nothing, the jelly legs are to be expected. I've only just recently felt like things have started to 'click' having been climbing near on a year now.
  25. Did you get that ladder from brico depot? I have one myself...........useful piece of kit!
