  1. Maybe try a brian James trailer. I've just got a 14 ft flatbed from them and the build quality seems better than than Ifor flatbed. Don't know about the tippers but they are worth a look.
  2. I think that all the stuff that mankind has done to the earth is not good, bad even in some things, but to say that we have any control over this planet is just too much. The earth was here for billions of years before us heating up and cooling down as it felt like it and it will continue doing so until the sun gobbles it up. In the grand scheme of things we are insignificant.
  3. It's not something silly like leaking from either the dipstick or oil drain is it?
  4. I've got a load of h and s and risk assessment stuff I could email over if it helps? Pm me if your interested cheers Richard
  5. If it is this phenous thing is it bad for the tree. Apple tree may be way off now I think on it as its on the far side of the orchard nearer to the hedges. I will check when I'm passing this week. It was a couple of weeks ago I took picture and I've forgotten. Thanks for all the replies
  6. A fruit tree it's an apple I think. I can't remember which tree in this orchard area its on I will check
  7. Any ideas what this is please? I have no idea but it does not look good!
  8. It does make sense as long as you know what the costs are you can charge for them, it's when you don't know you will have a problem. I have my rate for hour/day/week in my head and I quote from that, if you then go below that the only way is the job centre as you will soon be out of business. I'm probably not quite at the top for my job price wise but I make enough to keep me and mine secure. That's enough for me:)
  9. I had had that thought myself I doubt we will ever know, brave man if he did. I agree with you IF you are still of sound mind then why not be able to choose to end it before it gets horrible. Problem is where do you draw the line, who plays God so to speak?
  10. True enough but even if you get a small car the figures just don't add up either, you have to remember that these test are done on rolling roads and let's be honest they won't make life hard for the engines as it may screw up emissions figures as well. I think the point I'm making is if you've got a 2 tonne plus truck don't expect it to sip fuel. Also lets be honest it's not me that's paying my fuel bill but the customers. I've just towed a 16ft trailer 60 miles with a 1 tonne mower on it today, and the dash is saying 26.6 and it's not normally far off in my truck. I don't think that's too bad. Spec says 30 but there's no point worrying about it. There is worse things to spend money on:)
  11. You don't buy a pickup for good mpg though do you? If you want that buy a small van/car/bike:)
  12. Feel sorry for him in a way being 6 years sober now I know how hard it can be. you have to want to do it for yourself. No one can do it for him. BBC should not really put him in that position though. Could have been me (not the tv or politician bit) It is an awful place to be always thinking I want a drink, hope he can save himself.
  13. Put some pics up that sounds interesting
  14. I like single sided as there is less chance of cutting yourself that's how it feels anyway, because when on the down stroke you haven't got teeth cutting towards your legs!
  15. But they are cool though:)
  16. The vw is supposed to have the engine from a golf in it tuned up, that does not sound great if I'm honest, as someone else has said they are trying to get too much power out of small engines. Just my thought on it:)
  17. Airbags well worth it dad had a smash on m1 in the ford (changed from Nissan cause of the cr** gearbox) pickup near London and they saved his bacon!! Turned a nasty crash into a ruined truck but only some bruises
  18. My dads Nissan pickup would get stuck in 4wd if you used it and took days to come out again ruining the tyres and drivetrain by winding itself up and then scrubbing the tyres
  19. That's interesting I'd not heard anything bad about one yet, do you think it's worth having all in all?
  20. Timemaster is residential if your using it commercially get a turf master It's supposed to be good
  21. I also have an atco 24 royale with trailed seat which is good and fast if it's not too bumpy and leaves the stripe you want.
  22. Meant uprated gearbox
  23. I have the kaaz 21 roller the bottom one on the link you could pick one up for about a grand and they are very good, make sure it has the updated gearbox on it. http://www.danarm.com/danarm_lawnmowers.php
  24. What about a zero turn ride on? Big money just to use at home though
