  1. I had had that thought myself I doubt we will ever know, brave man if he did. I agree with you IF you are still of sound mind then why not be able to choose to end it before it gets horrible. Problem is where do you draw the line, who plays God so to speak?
  2. True enough but even if you get a small car the figures just don't add up either, you have to remember that these test are done on rolling roads and let's be honest they won't make life hard for the engines as it may screw up emissions figures as well. I think the point I'm making is if you've got a 2 tonne plus truck don't expect it to sip fuel. Also lets be honest it's not me that's paying my fuel bill but the customers. I've just towed a 16ft trailer 60 miles with a 1 tonne mower on it today, and the dash is saying 26.6 and it's not normally far off in my truck. I don't think that's too bad. Spec says 30 but there's no point worrying about it. There is worse things to spend money on:)
  3. You don't buy a pickup for good mpg though do you? If you want that buy a small van/car/bike:)
  4. Feel sorry for him in a way being 6 years sober now I know how hard it can be. you have to want to do it for yourself. No one can do it for him. BBC should not really put him in that position though. Could have been me (not the tv or politician bit) It is an awful place to be always thinking I want a drink, hope he can save himself.
  5. I like single sided as there is less chance of cutting yourself that's how it feels anyway, because when on the down stroke you haven't got teeth cutting towards your legs!
  6. The vw is supposed to have the engine from a golf in it tuned up, that does not sound great if I'm honest, as someone else has said they are trying to get too much power out of small engines. Just my thought on it:)
  7. Airbags well worth it dad had a smash on m1 in the ford (changed from Nissan cause of the cr** gearbox) pickup near London and they saved his bacon!! Turned a nasty crash into a ruined truck but only some bruises
  8. My dads Nissan pickup would get stuck in 4wd if you used it and took days to come out again ruining the tyres and drivetrain by winding itself up and then scrubbing the tyres
  9. That's interesting I'd not heard anything bad about one yet, do you think it's worth having all in all?
  10. Timemaster is residential if your using it commercially get a turf master It's supposed to be good
  11. I also have an atco 24 royale with trailed seat which is good and fast if it's not too bumpy and leaves the stripe you want.
  12. I have the kaaz 21 roller the bottom one on the link you could pick one up for about a grand and they are very good, make sure it has the updated gearbox on it. http://www.danarm.com/danarm_lawnmowers.php
  13. What about a zero turn ride on? Big money just to use at home though
  14. How much you looking to spend?
  15. Just out of interest why do you want it naming on the maps?
  16. What is it? Sorry for being thick
  17. I know that I'm talking about the general bad feeling from North of the border to South of the border from some quarters. Alex salmond has a lot to answer for because the referendum was always going to split the country/s. I think nationalism is good to a point but also very blinkered and quite dangerous Personally I wish they had gone independent so they could sink or swim on their own.
  18. How come you want to go employed? Are you fed up with the hassle that goes with being self employed?
  19. Scotland had their vote did they not? Let it rest
  20. Every other time I will be doing the verges etc on the way, will I need to register for just crossing the the road?bits I wan not going to use the big machine for the verges as its 7ft cut and I have a 3 foot walk behind that is almost a better size for the road side bits. Got to make my mind up soon starts in 3 weeks. I think to start I will walk the road side bits as by the time I've manoeuvred around lampposts etc the smaller one will be quicker.
  21. Is it me or is the hinge post on pic 2 not straight?
