  1. Just out of interest why do you want it naming on the maps?
  2. What is it? Sorry for being thick
  3. I know that I'm talking about the general bad feeling from North of the border to South of the border from some quarters. Alex salmond has a lot to answer for because the referendum was always going to split the country/s. I think nationalism is good to a point but also very blinkered and quite dangerous Personally I wish they had gone independent so they could sink or swim on their own.
  4. How come you want to go employed? Are you fed up with the hassle that goes with being self employed?
  5. Scotland had their vote did they not? Let it rest
  6. Every other time I will be doing the verges etc on the way, will I need to register for just crossing the the road?bits I wan not going to use the big machine for the verges as its 7ft cut and I have a 3 foot walk behind that is almost a better size for the road side bits. Got to make my mind up soon starts in 3 weeks. I think to start I will walk the road side bits as by the time I've manoeuvred around lampposts etc the smaller one will be quicker.
  7. Can you not put it all into iTunes?
  8. Is it me or is the hinge post on pic 2 not straight?
  9. Try Dropbox for your photos and documents free for 50GB
  10. Thanks for that
  11. Hi does anyone know the rules on road registering big mowers. I've just bought an 84 inch cut mower and I'm wondering about road registering as I have 3 areas I cut within about 1 mile of each other and I'm thinking of just driving between the sites instead of loading up in between. Many thanks Richard
  12. Hi all just thought I'd let everyone know that halfords have 1/2 price socket sets again. I have just got the 170 piece one for £125 and there is is smaller set for £80 both look good for the money
  13. I have 2 play areas I look after and they work out at around £25 per hour over the full 12 months ie less money and more time in growing season but money for next to nothing in winter. Good contracts to have though as they pay all year round
  14. I would avoid the 4 mix if I were you! Heard good things about Honda stuff but a bit over budget (about £350 for the engine 35cc one and another £225 I think for long reach trimmer) I've borrowed one of these and it's brilliant if a little heavy and the engines are bullet proof. I will be getting one in time for my hedge cutting in the autumn, I don't do many in the rest of the year and no tall ones anyway. If I get asked to do one before I will buy it sooner though!
  15. Most phones (probably all) allow 999 etc from locked phone.
  16. You don't need your own network but you do need someone's network to call 999
  17. 3 kg on right left looks better value to me
  18. I only use single sided cutters as I don't see how you can cut yourself with them without be really very stupid.
  19. Not worth trying imo as either you do you're back in trying to lift it or worse you lose control of it and it lands on you. 2 people maybe lift it if there are decent hand holds. Getting it out again will be as bad if not worse I think. I've got a howard 350 rotavator and I have no idea how much it weighs but it's probably less than 125 kg and I can't push it up ramp into trailer have to drive it up. Maybe I'm just getting old though!!
  20. What thickness did you get I've just looked at them and they seem to be a good price. What's the quality like? Thanks in advance
  21. I know what you mean about the bin men if they see you I had one moan at me once he did take it though. I don't know why they care tbh I'm sure they don't get paid enough to be bin police!
  22. I do use the bins until they are full because how do the bin men know?
  23. I use mine very rarely but I will be getting some class 2 trousers after reading this my class one are getting old now and probably need replacing. A timely reminder glad you're ok. It just reminds me that it takes only a second of not paying full attention and you could. Conceivably be dead!!
