  1. Grand piece of kit that , I had been looking Slightly older Case 580sr which my local dealer had in Stock (3) but again my brain says no and my heart says yes , I have up spent a small fortune last 6 months so will have to wait . Ste

Back on the farm our old Bedford RL 4x4 tipper would crawl its way out just about anywhere, many times loaded with spuds buried down to the axles and never failed to get out ,admittedly fighting for dear life with the Huge steering wheel and cracking your elbow with gear change on cab lol 😁 Ste

  11. Think you hit the nail on the head, them Townies have not got a clue about the Countryside or Farming and has for John Craven I cant make my mind up has to who he is behind Farmers or Townies at time's. Ste .
  12. You say you carrying out work on it? Any chance you been welding or short circuit the system? You may have to have it re-set has may have gone into limp Mode, try disconnecting the battery and leave alone for ten mins . Ste
  13. I have a old MS025 from new which again has been brilliant so I really fancied trying something completely different so that's why I opted for the 201c , its a saw that I have never come across or heard much about . Ste

  15. Just before Christmas I treated myself to a MS201C back handle saw and I was a bit dubious at first , my last 2 saws I bought I choose the 461 and 880 has they were old skool carbs . I have to say I am impressed with this Saw , it revs it's Nuts off so sweetly and no issues with Starting when warm , I have absolutely battered it this week and its very user friendly. Ste

  17. I swear by my Yanmar compact and finishing mower ,much more versatile but slower cutting grass than your old scag would be . My finishing mower is a cheap Hinari but I have not took a spanner to it in 4 years . Ste

  21. Only got it for the 880 so has to cost am not fussed has its only a once maybe twice a month saw . Has Aspen the fumes have gone. Ste
  22. The price certainly isn't £13.50 for 5 Litres' but again has aspen its the Shelf life which attracted me but my local dealer will knock 20% of that price , shelf life has now been increased from 2years to 4 !!!. Ste
  23. Filled the 880 up at weekend with Stihl motomix and I am impressed,noticeable difference in running has in very crisp response plus the obvious shelf life which for me 880 is ideal has its not used much . Thumbs up here👍 Ste

  25. Sad day today has i said goodbye to two David Brown 995s that has a kid i watched them delivered brand new to the premises were i am now in 1974 and 1979. After much thought i decided they were to far gone and far to much time needed for me to restore so off they went BUT keeping with David Brown History (62 years at my house ) i bought a 990 . this will be ideal for my Balfor sawbench instead of killing my little Yanmar .
