  1. What make of Tractor ? It should have a pipe near the top link pin and may have a blank fitted and most compact tractor trailers are one way rams so a easy job to sort . My Yanmar has a tipping pipe on but its fitted with a blank and just needs a snap on spool or fit the older screw on valve which i prefer . Ste
  2. I have been tempted to buy a IVECO 4x4 and this one on E-BAY has been up for sale for some time now item No-111452654711 . I run a FORD F350 LONG BED SUPER DUTY but it came in down rated to save a lot of hassle and will pull and carry anything without a issue . Ste

  5. Yep insurance company etc sorting it out but its the hassle being without me normal van ,the million and one phone calls from all these claims companies and worrying about this green card issue . Ste

Just what i needed at the start of the grass cutting season is some CLOWN from CZ Republic in there van to pull out of a give way junction head on into my van with me mini digger on trailer too ...............what a mess . Has anyone else had too deal with GREEN CARD INSURANCE ??? Fast turning into a major headache ! Ste

  8. Hi ,i retro fitted a STIHL 30" on my old 153 just had to re-drill oil holes to match Sachs dolmar bar . Running a 404 chain too . Ste
  9. Whip through Wallasy tunnel and by NORTONS SCRAP there is a fuel depot on old dock road ,failing that 1 mile from runcorn bridge MILLHOUSE GARAGE . Same has above LOL Ste
  10. The Owl on the books looks great ,picked my new MS150TC up last week so might give carving a try have been meaning to do this for 25 years so think now is a good time I have a Nice pile of Beech and Cedar from last couple of jobs are they OK for carving . Ste
  11. Have been offered a Sachs Dolmar 153 which has allegedly done 20hrs work , i do have a 153 which has had a hard life in its past . Have not long bought a new MS461 so not pushing it but if its has good has this old chap says i dont want a bargain passing bye plus its adds to my collection any way . So what sort of ££££££££ Ste
  12. They are only a pruning saw and they do struggle with bigger limbs hence i binned the horrendous low kickback chain they came with and fitted a STIHL chain which made a dramatic change, bear in mind a STIHL ms150TC has more power than the MTDs. Ste
  13. I have got four of them .................................enough said. Have had same issues has above choke....strop hole . BOUGHT 2 that have been returned under warranty for £20 ,ideal spares . Still not a bad little saw but keep that chain tight and the idle creeps up so be careful. Ste

  17. Save up more dosh for Takeuchi TB016 ,great machine ,we run a TB016, TB 023 and no problems , Also run a Kobelco SK20SR ZERO SWING great machine for tight jobs. Ste
  18. Have a few football names on me Garden Round but not naming has they are has tight has a ducks you know what even on the brews but then has i am Man U follower and work in Liverpool may have some bearing on it . Ste

Hi ,my brother has a tow Niftylift ,problem i have noticed with this one is the out reach is rubbish so you have to be careful with falling branches or logs has they will smash the control box etc so everything has too be roped down . Plus points are the axle will pull in for tighter access and they are cheaper . Personally i hate them with a passion and wont use them . Ste
  20. Picked up me new MS150TC last Friday and it too had 2013 and so did 461 last month ,slightly miffed but hay ho STIHL new . Ste
  21. Hi ,i run a Yanmar 4WD with powershift which is a import and near mint and is 22HP under lid ,has a creeper box which is handy for hauling but would stick to 30+HP if using a Forwarding trailer . The Yanmar engine and gearbox are used in the compact John Deere Tractors too . Ste
  22. Hi, i have a few MAN SAWS:biggrin: in my collection ie OLD Dolmar 153 with 30"bar and compare that to me new MS461 is unbelievable weight wise . Why i say my age i mean my body is knackerd already . Time will tell if i can still start that old DOLMAR later on in life Ste
  23. Hi all, Run my own Landscape/mini digger hire/ Garden Maintenance and Tree Services around Liverpool and Widnes areas . Grew up on a farm so chainsaws have been part of my life since a wee nipper and have the up most respect for them and have the scars I pick and choose my tree jobs these days and leave the difficult jobs too the lads who have the staff . Love anything with engines and Run a FORD F350 SuperDuty with a 8ft bed which is pretty awesome for tree work. I am still obsessed with chainsaws at the age of 46 and still adding to my collection Ste
