3. Bought a Viking MB 655VM series 6 mower which is classed in the top end of its range , now in its 2nd month of daily use by myself and is coping well and does a lovely finish and picks grass up better than Honda Pro and a much lighter machine . Does a great job in wet grass too. Just wondering if anyone has done a full season with one and any problems they might of had ? Ste
4. First time this season that I have failed to get out so hey ho cant complain . Has been a cracking season . Ste
5. HL95 is a 4mix engine so there could be something more sinister going on ,I have never had a problem with mine YET after 6years . What oil have you. Being using ? Ste

8. Mini Digger back out today after fuel tank drained and filters cleaned and all seems fine for now:thumbup: Its a Kobelco sk20sr 2000 model so i reckon the older fuel injection pumps are a bit tougher than these latest Hi tech fly by wire jobs. Ste

12. Shot out this morning to pick chipper up and forgot my steel jerry can for Diesel, so in my wisdom used a green petrol can to get by . Rushing to beat the rain at site i grab A green petrol can (carry 2 green for mowers and red for mix) and DUNK it in the DIGGER ................. petrol ! . Am still kicking myself now ,thought i got away with it but no cough cough stop. 2 hours that silly mistake cost me . Ste
13. Merlo or Manitou with out a doubt , in my previous life i spent 10 years driving a concrete wagon and while delivering to sites it was always JCBs broke down. Most of them had the death smell coming out of the exhaust . Ste

15. Well after 7 years i got round to fitting a Thumb & Ripper tooth for one of me diggers today ,why i waited so long i just do not know. Stubborn springs to mind and my back has took the toll . 30 MIN JOB TOO FIT TOO. Ready for work on Saturday . Ste
16. Bought this mower 4 months ago and its been a life saver, knocks over 4 hours off my work load a week and not too mention trips too wheelie bin AND MY LEGS ,still manages a stripe and The customers love the fine finish . It is for well maintained lawns and does not like tall grass Bad points are it hates deep mossy lawns like most four wheel mowers. When cutting wet grass you have too keep grass box lid open . Have not tried the mulching plug has not a big fan of them and the side discharge chute is OK. Major plus point is its short length means it will fit in my swb Iveco and still fit me Hayter/Honda roller mowers . Ste
17. Thats life unfortunately ,,i got my van wiped out in MARCH by a couple of CZ blokes on the wrong side of the road, bought another van to get me by and the turbo blew after two weeks . 2 VANS PARKED UP THEN .gutted i was . Ste

21. Dont do enough miles too justify GAS ,Only use it for work if me trailer is still full from previous job or if my van ever lets me down but mainly for leisure time at weekends . 8 years on and never missed a beat and i tried to kill the auto box going too Flamingo land via scenic route with a silly caravan behind . I still say GAS kills a big engine and i just love the noise it belts out . Ste
22. 5.4L v8 engine single figures Around town Terrible ,shocking ,heartburn every time i pull in to a petrol station (£120 Gets half a tank) . On motorway much better 12-15 towing and no need to rev above 2500 rpm . The Diesel engines are worse has they are 7.3L,6.0L or 6.4L on newer models . The older 7.3 is the best motor fitted has the 6.0L has cost FORD millions in buy backs has after 30 thou they go bang . Ste
23. Its a shame i can only tow legally 3.5 TON has it has a tongue weight of 245kgs on towbar . I have looked into running it back at 5T but far to much hassle and paper work plus Tacho ,operators badge etc . Ste
24. You should have something looking like this near the top link and a pipe running under seat ,but if its a more modern tractor then it will have quick release couplings fitted . Ste
