4. If it seizes the oil will blow into exhaust and you will look like Thomas the Tank engine stoking up !! Seriously don't drive it and get it fixed asap or else you you empty oil out of sump via exhaust onto street .......been there. Ste

6. After all the Hassle recently with endless posts from a individual can you not consider keep the Lounge away from being seen from Todays posts so keeping non-arb topics out of sight , I know only members can see the Lounge but personally I think seeing lounge topics drags the professional look of the forum down and keeps relevant topics high on the list . Ste
7. On the subject of Manual thumb v Hydraulic thumb I did a Wee video today has I finished early , demolishing old pig pens using my micro digger with the Thumb off the 2 ton machine ,loading concrete blocks into dumper and with the right man the manual Thumb works a treat without having the boom outstretched . For those who have never used a micro digger they can very quick and catch you out if not careful .There is switch to calm it down but its painfully slow and frustrating. Ste
8. Early Hitachi. Ste
9. Cheap has chips that , usually fetch around the 10k plus for tractor alone . Ste
10. A tip for the future .....if you can afford to keep her even when works dries up then do has this will be very sort after Tractor in a few years time. Ste

13. A bum job (Family) that i have been putting of for 4 MONTHS but i made a effort Friday and today i picked up the logs , bit of over kill with the 880 but very little room on the job and everything through a narrow shared ally way,ms 260 for smaller logs . Cut all the rings up and crossed cut everything on job before they turned into iron , micro chipper all on to a compost heap at the bottom of garden . This job turned out well considering how narrow and typical Eucalyptus branches that go off into the abyss and a Shed either side underneath and no damage to fence Lesser of the 2 evils today .....running the 880 on Motomix and using me Truck to pickup logs instead of the van, fair weight in that truck too

16. Sound investment my old 153 , paid buttons on e bay 9 years ago and fetched a reasonable £255 so I was happy. Shavey I have a 112 and 117 if you are interested for Spares , both complete with chain brake bands less one handle and the 117 does run but no power . Cant be hassled with e bay anymore . Ste
17. Just remember if your using a Powerful winch that's portable to use on the rear tow bar then you will need to run Anderson cables from battery to rear to make portable connection if you want a proper job . Ste
18. Called in on those good lads at Skyland to have a nosey at the Echo saws and am impressed with the 390 ,I like the old fashion positive style on/off switch which is the same has the old Dolmars which Never broke and the quality bars fitted to them . Most definitely purchasing one next month . Ste

24. I don't push for work for my mini diggers these days ( don't need the hassle either) has they are paid for now , my micro digger sat idle for 3 months but last month it worked its cotton socks off and saved me a lot of hand balling ,I have work lined up for a couple of days for 2ton machine . They are so handy to have around for unloading brash or bulk bags of chips etc ,I will never part with them . Ste
