1. The Benifit from using them daily out weighs everything for me , tennis elbow etc , years of abuse. The strimmer is my latest love . Ste
2. I aint digging another one again ! Done with my Kobelco 2 ton ,tight job and very little room . Took the first 2 foot off and then drove in and dug first half out to 5ft 8 and finished last half on top . Ste
3. I have stopped laying Turf for this reason has its getting harder to find decent Has dug soil and everyone now offers so called screened soil from re-cycling yards . Ste
4. Unfortunately in today's world of re cycling I am coming across more problems with freshly laid turf because of the amount of Cowboys using re-cycled soil which is basically screened stones and whatever rubbish they can class has soil. The Turf look great for the first year until the winter and then the problems appear in the Spring . Ste
5. Good call , always the best option when taking on a new lawn with issues. Ste
6. I have cut my Long jons in half to compensate for this topsy-turvy weather .....cold-warm -cold -warm . Ste

10. Ran mine now for over 15 months and love it , the difference in the weight of the batteries is unbelievable, th AP115 battery is so light that you can hardly notice the saw on you BUT its only good for small pruning jobs has it soon runs out of life . I use the AP 180 all the time has its gives a good balance to the saw but has Silky says the bigger 300 battery just goes on and on . Ste

12. Right then ,my tyres on my Hayter Condor are absolutely shot to pieces too a point I cannot read the sizes on the sidewall's! They are the Low Profile Cleated type on the Hydrostatic model year around 2009 , have tried my Dealer and all that comes up is Tyre on the parts list and priced at £103 plus vodka but no size listed. Thanks in advanced Ste
13. Only Solution that actually works is ........... Change the Seats has the Smell will grind you down, takes flippin years to go !!! Ste
14. A fairly sensible Question if you are not aware of how fragile Asbestos roofing is ,crack () on with job and has said treat it like a Greenhouse and all will be fine . Big 6 asbestos is fairly ridged but only used mainly on commercial units etc so you will be dealing with the smaller ridges. Ste
15. Take a look at the Hayter Condor rotary pedestrian mowers just in your budget £500-£1000 will cut just about anything has they use discs with free swinging knives attached just like the drum mowers that we use for mowing Hay . I have used one for 9 years and I can tell you they are ideal for paddocks and tall rough grass . Ste
16. Hi Jamie , the Viking mower in Question is fine for small Domestic gardens etc but it will struggle with Mossy lawns and uneven gardens , has to variable speed control don't move lever while engine switched off ., otherwise great mowers and cheap and easy to repair. Sre
17. RSL here and combined with there Ripper tooth Absolutely unstoppable. Ste

21. Its Strange working with the little Stihl Cordless saw , a sort of Calming atmosphere arrives with it while perched high in the Tree . Ste Vespasian, try Duttons Mower World for Stihl saws etc , Warrington/Runcorn based .
22. I have always treated my Work has a Hobby albeit a expensive one ( cant have enough Toys ) but recently I have pulled the reins in has I have neglected the Family duties a Wee bit , took the kids to School on Monday and then Treated the Wench to a day out in Chester for my Sins . Back in the good books for a week ! Ste
23. Cant be any worse then those lorry's carrying the Static Caravans. Plan your route carefully. Ste
24. The old Stihl TS350 mushroom filter type saws are plentiful still and many moons ago I picked one up from a skip , threw a pot & piston in from GHS supplies of flea bay and bingo runs a dream . Unfortunately most Concrete saws are owned and operated by Brainless Baboons (Builders) who's maintenance skills are that of a flea, there idea of fuel mix is horrifying......so most saws have to say had a Hard and Brutal life .
