  2. My Mrs is exactly the Same for over 15 years, she has been to the docs and had tests and all's well , she will suffer headaches and feel like poo the whole week if she does not get to bed early or has disturbed sleep ie when I roll in from my one night a week trip to me local pub causes murder . Ste
  3. Being Efficient and multi-tasking is the key to Success along with Positive Thinking is the Key .......... Saying that I have had a Fecker of a week , cant believe how Hanging a simple new wooden side gate for a Customer can go so wrong !!!! Ste

  6. The Silver Pro 48 is acceptable, single speed and fixed roller , I like it but pathetically weak front wheels . Ste
  7. Gutted I am , I invested in Cordless Stihl range for my Garden Maintenance to save my poor elbows and shoulders with repetitive starting and all was going well for 12 months till yesterday. The only non cordless hand tool for gardening is the Stihl blower .... The return spring on carb /throttle broke so in my wisdom I held the blower steady with my knee , right hand on holding choke on and left hand to start it ,shocking pain and noise from my arm . I think I may have tore a muscle possibly Flex carpi has very little strength in my wrist/grip and pain in forearm. End of a long day rushing home and not thinking straight and awkward starting position!!! Ste
  8. Firstly Bin the Variable speed pulley , they do or did a kit to convert to single speed , I payed £80 going back some Time . Secondly the transmission boxes can become lazy with time more so on the big 56 mowers . Thirdly you can lock of the engine via the Spark plug hole but I don't like doin this has normally a good crack on the spanner should free the blade bolt off. Ste
  9. Just make one from a Large Tree trunk . Ste
  10. SHOCKING DAY ......unearthed a redundant ( but still live )street light cable 3ft behind customers Privet hedge 4"below ground level with micro digger............big bang theory . I spent over Hour tracing house utilities only to find that cable after a 150 yard dig and last 3ft of the dig for a new water main across a large garden . Ste
  11. My advice is DON'T get drawn into the world of Mulching !!! its not that simple . If you going to knock the top off and collect then carry on collecting has the Mulcher will struggle its tits off with the coarser part of the grass that will be heavy with Moisture. Mulchers work brilliant on short dry well maintained lawns (cut weekly) and that's what they are designed for . Yes you will see contracters fir Councils etc with Mulching decks in the pissing rain but the Machine will just be making Green grinding paste and they are not arsed about paying the maintenance bill . I swear by Mulchng mowers but only this week with the adverse extreme Warm freak dry weather we are enjoying after 8 months of Rain lol . Ste
  12. Probably only the Flail type with a high collecter . Ste

Every mower has a place,I have paddocks, crap lawn , luxury lawns ,lawns that I would not piss on ,every mower breaks down , I always carry 3 mowers , the weather changes so I use 4 wheeled mowers in the wet , every Garden is different and I mulch in the Summer . Being efficient is the secret . Yes its me with the Cordless gear .
