Only one firewood woodsure supplier listed locally on there, and it just happens to be the same company that I recently tested the moisture % of batch of there firewood that was delivered as seasoned. It was around 40% when delivered. I tested them after a homeowner who I did a job for was complaining they didn't burn. 🙂 Didn't really need a moisture meter to tell it was completely green sikta spruce.

Fell I reckon mature sea buckthorn trees iv'e seen always tend to collapse its just its growth habit Sea buckthorn strikes from cuttings fairly well so you could always try and propagate some new trees from it if you are fond of it etc. The berries are a very popular food in some nordic and eastern european countries, but think you need both male and female trees..

  20. The walled garden area doesn't look very productive for food compared to what it must of being like historically packed full of flowers and veg ands fruit trees vines etc against all thoose walls etc. Also majority of veg doesn't like shade from trees much.
