  1. I would probably climb it, if it stayed up yesterday then it can't be too bad. If you need to rig it do it in smaller bits. But that's just my opinion Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  2. I have cancelled tomorrow's job because of the wind, a big ash pollard overhanging a main road, so going to do Friday afternoons job. So hopefully it'll blow like hell tomorrow and create some extra work! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  3. That's what I was hoping that somebody would know. The clutch drum is the same as a 372, but the clutch and the oil drive doesn't fit- I've tried it, different thread. A clutch from a 3120 is too big and a 181 clutch listed on ebay doesn't show and jonsered models. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  4. Reopening an old thread here, but does anyone have any ideas where I can get a clutch and an oil pump drive for this saw? As the clutch blew apart last week. Tried the local dealer that I know can get jonsered bits, but he can only get the clutch not the oil drive. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  5. The only thing she could light was the match. Many a time I came home to an unlit fire and an empty box of fire lighters. And yes, I did show her how to do it[emoji849] Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  6. Wow, I like that! Original idea! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  7. Looks ok to me mate Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  8. In my experience that doesn't look easy! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk

  10. Mines great. I did take it back to the dealer because it was sucking fine sawdust into the carb. But I had been cutting a lot of dust dead wood and have since found out that the filter needs to be cleaned more regularly than I was doing it. Still to be fair to the dealer they changed the air filter just to check Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  11. If you remove the spark arrestor would you not invalidate the warranty? Buy an echo 501 it is a great saw Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  12. I told a bird who is 41 I was talking to on tinder that 40 is the new 30 and she loved it! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  13. The answer is to buy a ford ranger. My dog has locked herself in twice now and it took two of us with various tools and wire and lots of swearing about 15 minutes to hook the keys out of the ignition. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  14. Not a bad job there Will, Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  15. Depends how many holes you have to drill. I put thousands in one week in stumps under lines for Sse, we used a petrol Stihl drill and obviously can go all day with it, great bit of kit, but a bit pricey if only drilling a couple of stumps now and then. I have a Bosch 18v drill and I'm happy with it, I've had other cheaper ones in the past and killed them pretty quick. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  16. Mine was fine with a brand new chain but a couple sharpens later was cutting on a curve, just the tiniest of difference in the tooth length on one side seems to make it do this as after another, more careful sharpen its cutting straight again. I just think the chain has to be spot on Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  17. Two from today, been reduced first about 3 years ago. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  18. Thanks, I realise that. It was only a joke, I don't employ anyone yet, just use subbies, may do in the future, I'm just going to see how the next few months pan out. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  19. First choice would be 200t then 372 with a 24 inch bar, but since these two saws have died I'm left with a 150t and an echo 501 on an 18 inch bar which lovely and light to use. I don't look forward to the jonsered 2081 being sent up! Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  20. Pardon? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  21. I thought you had an old l200? How's that coming on? Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  22. 3 questions I thought of at work today. Why has my 150t got a bubble on the carb? And will I ever get used to the choke being where it is? Why are my hands colder when I wear gloves? And is this safe? Forgot to take a photo tho.! An extra ladder ratchet strapped to the top of my 3 part ladder to get to the top of the gable end to trim this wisteria Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  23. What mick says. Simply put, half a tree is better than no tree. Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  24. Will it? I used to put it in the moving parts of my back pack sprayer instead of grease and it never did any harm Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
  25. I've got some that size, but it is buried under about 20 tons of split logs so can't get to it until maybe the spring. If you still need it by then let me know Sent from my iPhone using Arbtalk
