  1. I have two empty trucks coming back from Dorchester tomorrow, if you can get the timber there it could have a free ride to Guildford. Bob
  2. Just ramped up production of the home brew for such an occasion Bob
  3. The guy in the vid is only on about a code reader which will point you in the right direction. Proper diagnostic kit is a lot more in depth and will run engines through test cycles throwing up tons more information. I got a rip off Ford set up that works with the lap top, its been a godsend. Does pump codes, keys and tons of other stuff. The only extra I needed to get was the oddball plug for the Ranger. Bob
  4. Semi Chill, headphones and volume. [ame] [/ame]
  5. This gear Kevin, we used it mixed with OPC http://kerneosinc.com/pdfs/CimentFonduBrochure.pdf Bob
  6. Postcrete is a rip off, all you need to do if you want quick set is sprinkle a bit of Fondu cement in with the ordinary concrete mix and its off in minutes. We did some decking for the council for wheelchair access around some ponds using that composite plastic/wood. The decking was half in the water and half on land, that concrete was off in minutes even though it was submerged within half an hour. Digging the post holes through the middle of a 200ltr barrel with the ends cut out and leccy pump in the way was not easy but the lads managed:thumbup1: That composite decking seems to be good gear. Bob
  7. Al`s drawbar was broke on his new 18 tonner so Mick Dundee welded in a new one for him. Unbroke
  8. TW run 150 bar and enough flow for two stator motors or two tracking motors.( not sure about other makes of chippers) That will be more than enough flow/pressure for a winch like this which makes second hand not worth looking at. **NEW** HYDRAULIC WINCH 12V 10000 LBS POWERWINCH BRAND ----- COMPLETE SET ----- | eBay Bob
  9. Go hydraulic, a decent secondhand one for £300-400 . Pipes and a diverter off the track circuit , no brain surgeon is needed to fit one. Will winch tirelessly all day. Bob
  10.

<p>Position here for a guy/lass with HGV1 for general running about, needs to be able to load/unload machines and be prepared to muck in on other duties when not driving.</p>

  11. If its all local work it sounds like a job for a small tractor with pto chipper and trailer, all the kit on the job in one go. That wont struggle backing up a steep drive, it may get your heart racing coming back down though Bob
  12. Ye of little faith they would have shifted that lot by now. Bob
  13. I have just cut one of the fields here that was about 4` deep with a flail, one cut is not ideal and there will be a lot of chopped up grass left laying about. A second cut a few days later would be better. On reflection it should have been cut and baled. Bob
  14. Paul Westons take on it. Worth watching. [ame] [/ame]
  15.

<p>A team of three cutters with spraying tickets needed for six weeks starting in about a fortnights time, Godstone Surrey.</p>

  16. Perhaps things have changed, I wonder if some of these so called "flleetplans" are really that or just glossed up muliticars insurances. To lay down restrictions of age and convictions could open a can of worms, far better to get the right insurance than risk winging it to save a few quid. Bob
  17. Any driver policies are straight frorward if you have fleet plans with five or more trucks but its not cheap. Outside of a fleetplan questions get asked about who is driving ie age, convictions, DD etc which starts to get messy. Our Allianze fleet plan covers any driver irrespective of age or smut on his/her license. Clear insurance in Cranleigh are brokers for them. Bob

  19. Sounds like Al Cormack is your man, he has the Avant and the truck with the RoRo bin. You just need to learn sign language http://arbtalk.co.uk/forum/milling-forum/100681-timber-moving-2.html Bob
  20. Another vote for the MF390, basic and easy to work on. Bob
  21. Just recieved this email so it looks like its back on I feel a cheeky offer coming on rather than bid for it this time Bob Sunken 47ft Harborough Marine Canal boat | eBay Hi, I just wanted to let you know that the boat you bid on is now back up for sale as the winning bidder did not pay. Feel free to take a look and ask any questions if you are still interested. Sunken 47ft Harborough Marine Canal boat | eBay Many thanks Jack
  22. A man popped in to take a trailer load of rings , and he drove off down the road like it.
  23. One of the Freelanders spat its CV joint grease and guts out.It still managed to get back to the yard so the 4x4 bit must still be working. Had a spare in the shed so its back up and running:thumbup1:
  24. Maybe its time for the chainsaw "certificate" to be changed into a type of licence that an employer can endorse. Bob
