  1. Dont worry about it Rosey, I just read it on google earth and will print it off later and wallpaper the office with it As wrong as the situation is there is not much in that article most of us dont already know, perhaps the guys on the harvesters should unite and form a consortium, strength in numbers and all that. As individuals they are ripe for shafting. Bob

  5. The young ones, citizen Smith, open all hours and only fools Bob
  6. I was thinking of fitting a two hundred gallon tank between the chassis rails on the low loader and bolting one of those pumps behind the car catcher so I can blast off the machines on site . Better than bringing them back caked in it Bob
  7. Rule number one, the customer is always right. If the man wants rake and burn let him have it. Ours is not the reason why. Bob
  8. Exactly what he says Steve, rake up lop and top and burn it. Normally on a hectare rate and tough going on a machine/rake amongst the stumps. With one of these Bob
  9. Here it is Mathew, battered and bruised but still going. Bob
  10. I know the original poster said electric but those portable petrol washers are much better, will work out of a bucket, got a bit more power and are in the same price range. This one is the same as the one I bought about ten years ago and its been trouble free FoxHunter Petrol Power Pressure Jet Washer 2200PSI 6.5HP Engine With Gun Hose | eBay Bob
  11. No good for a bank job Ste, run in there waving that about and they will sit you down in the corner and call your parents. Bob

No mention of a grundomat then ? Bob
  20. Of boredom? Still ok with the job, its the box ticking and bull thats become increasingly monotonous. Bob
  21. The upside of the flail is everything it can manage is gone with no further handling , just rasher off the small gear and cut /chip the bigger bits. You can make some serious progress with tractor/sidearm or 360 mounted flail. I have got another one that will do the whole job including the bigger stuff but it needs a 13 tonner. Bob
  22. This will eat everything up to about 2" and reduce it to nothing, will go on a three ton machine. If you need it PM me. Bob
  23. Was thinking more of the saw that travels with me and only gets used once in a while to trim up the timber trailer or cut the tractor out, stale fuel and all that. Bob
  24. I dont spend much time on a saw these days Stubbs but I do keep a couple of those one shots in the truck for emergencies, our normal mix is 25/1 but cant say I have noticed the smoke difference on the odd occasion I have used the one shot. Just for the hell of it and not to be outdone by JB I am going to try that asprin fuel you lot keep going on about ( in secret ) Bob
