  2. Was thinking the same, the transits we have are 3.5t gross with a 5.750t train weight . Chris might be on about a single wheel transit or a connect. Bob
  3. One of our clients wanted a spiteful hedge to establish itself alongside his wooden fence, the plan is the hedge will take over by the time the panels have fallen to bits. He wanted an evergreen and colour so we planted Pyracantha Firethorn. Firethorn Time will tell. Bob
  4. I dont suppose for one minute the child will have a conventional upbringing, it will probably be raised by a succession on nannies and then shoved into an expensive boarding school. The integrity of the mothers knicker elastic is suspect so I would imagine she will have no problem finding the child a new daddy when Jagger croaks or is exchanged for one that still works. Bob
  5. Brilliant:thumbup1: Can you see what it might be yet
  6. Good god its must have been like a dry powder fire extinguisher going off , the poor girl must of added water. Bob
  7. 6. I would have given more but you have been titting about with it too much Bob
  8. Suffering Jesus Jomoco put the kin sun hat on, My Morbark is the same width as the lorry so yes they are eight feet+ wide. Bob
  9. Diesel all the way, torque ( the bit that matters) and more of it produced at a lower RPM, rebated fuel cost, end of. Cars running ( diesel) I`ll get my coat. Bob
  10. If money is tight make her a pearl necklace. Bob:)
  11. Al these filters are a bit of a gem for less than a fiver a pop from the motor factors, there are direction arrows on the top so you cant get them wrong, just cut the pipe and fit. I normally cable tie them somewhere on the chassis, there is a drain in the bottom and a bleed on the top. I just periodically check the drain for water. Comline Fuel Filter EFF008 MG ZR Land Rover Freelander | eBay Bob
  12. I am not sure how it will affect us, I suppose it depends on the angle of the taper:confused1: I can feel a phone call coming on https://www.guildford.gov.uk/revaluation
  13. Some of the guys on here have built some pretty nifty adaptions/gizmo`s on here . Post them up. Flippity floppity post hole quick hitch. its simple enough so I will get another made up for the grab and rotator . I got sick to death of the grief it was to stick the post hole borer on the mini digger so I chained Mick to the bench and got him to cobble together this quick hitch adaptor . Essentially one piece of channel eight inches wide and on of four inches wide welded back to back , pin and bush diameter are 35mm on hitch and hole borer so spun them up on the lathe. Pins at 180mm center to center.
  14. Mick in the absence of tissues in the cab would you like any of your lads to demonstrate the deployment of a Paddy`s hanky Best leave the space cadets out of this Richie Bob
  15. Knowing Al that will be just the index Bob
  16. Most climbers will only come down after everything's cleared up, cheesy selfies are taken/posted up on here , trucks running ,warmed up and pointing homeward bound . Bob
  17. The pit I unbolted my Stenner from was concrete formed to point like a funnel and there was a 6" duct cast into it that went to a fan , this shot the dust from the pit into a builders bag. I am not sure if this was standard Stenner practice or just something the old boy that had it dreamt up but it seemed quite a neat set up and must have worked well because it was very clean in there. Bob
  18. Top tip JB, never suck diesel from the bottom of any stillage ,drum or tank no matter what . Cable tie a stick along the length of the pickup pipe on your leccy pump so the strainers always a few inches off the floor of the tank. Bob
  19. I forgot to put the forklift inside last night, it took an hour to get it to fire up. Clock the vaporiser:thumbdown:
  20. That`s as bad as " ok dude ", reach for the flame thrower. Bob
  21. Lucky escape Steve, that could have been so much worse. Hope you are healing and not still out of action. Bob Towalong TW has had a bit of a battering, normal crack. Feed the chipper a load of stones and rubbish until its blunt , when the chute starts to block up with stringy gear beat the granny out of it with a stick:thumbdown: Anyway set Mick Dundee on it With some heat ,patience ,an off cut of thickwall pipe and the hydraulic spreaders he managed to make the chute round again. And while he was at it he made the deflector adjustable. He trimmed up the thread on the pinch bolt so the handle ended up the other side of twelve o'clock so it cant rattle undone.
