  2. They won't eat horseradish plants I went with a mate to pick a car up and the woman there said she didn't know what they were but they were the only thing the goats didn't touch. I told here what they were and to dig up the roots late in the year to use them. She felt better about them after as she had thought they might be poisonous. I think your trees would be at risk if you kept the goats in there. [ame] [/ame]

Thinking it was hard going I hired it for a weekend. I started the job just to see how it would cope and it was done in 3 hours. I spent the rest of the weekend looking for stuff to destroy

  18. I was up the Birch in our back garden cutting it down with my bow saw, don't tell Bolam but I was wearing a T22/2 Willans kindly donated to me by htb in Aberdeenshire. I don't climb on it just use it to fasten myself to the tree and I will agree it is heavy but it does the job and makes me feel more secure.

  21. What's prosterity ? Is it a cross between posterity and prosperity ? It amazes me how quickly these frames go up and get clad.
  22. Door to door tree surgeons are not to be trusted then, who'd have thought it ?
  23. Not really a job as it's in our back garden but I'm taking the trunk down to the bottom and just leaving the back one. This tree had four separate trunks and was overhanging next door either side, we don't know when it grew so big. My missus is the groundie on this job, she's going up the next one.
