  1. That's grooming that is, watch your step.
  2. It says that is for the 320T & 350T
  3. It might help stop the piston skirt wearing on the bore.
  4. Why fit a decomp button then say don't use it ? Only way I flooded an engine was missing the cough and carry on pulling it over.
  5. I've had a few mig welders, the one I have now is a Kemppi Minarc mig and it has a fixed torch. A Euro torch would make the unit twice as long as it sticks out like a bridegroom on a wedding night and I never had need to take the torch off any of the Euro models I had, cutting the end off the wire and rewinding it and risking a bird nest in the welder is not my idea of fun. Each to their own though.
  6. That just sounds wrong and a bit creepy ?
  7. If Jack wants the credit for taking it down it's fine by me, but he might just have sold out of loot
  8. It's in the sticky at the top of General chat in the forum rules and posting guidelines thread.
  9. Just added it to my post Steve http://arbtalk.co.uk/index.php?pageid=forumrules It just takes me to the forum home page. The one on the site map at the bottom works, I've found it now Steve. I would refer him to rule 4. I would also refer eggs to rule 11
  10. I looked at some stuff on eBay that looked suspicious so I didn't buy it but I also didn't accuse anyone of anything or fall out with anyone on a forum because of it. I have reported suspicious items on eBay and Gumtree and some of them have been taken down while others were left to run their course. Learn to live with it if you can't influence it and don't bother falling out, I know it's hard sometimes and I have fallen into the trap occasionally but never resorted to name calling. What's an ash-shat by the way trigger_andy or are you calling him an ass hat ? Where do the forum rules stand on personal attacks I wonder as the link to the forum rules doesn't seem to go anywhere these days? http://arbtalk.co.uk/index.php?pageid=forumrules
  11. And a new bulb for the workshop
  12. And what about hammers, they can be lethal ?
  13. Well you will climb in that thong
  14. They look like exhaust bobbins, about 80p each at car spares place. What size thread is it, M6 or M8 ?
  15. If you put sugar in the tank with the oil you could eat the stuff when it sets, making it really environmentally friendly.
  16. There's a seller in India doing a successor to the Monkey Winch.
  17. A friend of mine had one and they are available with two different wheel sizes so could be higher on 13" wheels. Not sure but I think his was about 2ft 6in from ground to bed.
  18. I was fascinated reading about these winches and watched a video where one man pulls a stump out with no pulleys just a straight pull, truly amazed by them now.
  19. We're all cocks in someone's opinion
  20. Probably because the staff are not filling a couple of extra cans at the garage for homework any more
  21. I used them to fix window and door frames in, no problems. Use the recommended drill size for the screw on concrete and brickwork and you can't go wrong.

    Shingles

I had it years ago when I was 35 yrs old recovering from TB (I'm 66 now). It was across my back and my wife had to paint some liquid on it from the Doctor (It stung). I got it again a few years ago on my head and forehead and the Doctor was concerned as it was near my eye. If it got to my eyelid I was told to go straight back to Doctors or to A&E if they were not open. It took about 3 months to clear up and I still get itching across the top of my head from the nerves as if something is crawling on it. Last year a friend of mine was complaining of a rash and I looked at it and recognised his symptoms as shingles, told him to get to the doctor and he was early enough to get tablets to combat the virus. Aqueous calamine cream is good for the rash if the itching is bothering you.

    Stihl 056 av

Wipe some brick acid on the transfer and leave it till it fizzes then rinse it and do it again then get round it with some 240 grit wet and dry lubricated with WD40. Check it for deep gouges after.
  24. Never read a definite cause but it's often blamed on some kind of stress or virus.
  25. I can't remember doing that one, where is it ?
