  1. The offset bend in it means it will actually move the valve spring. Will order two or three of them now and see how I get on. Thanks for all the help, looked everywhere on the internet but sometimes you need to ask the right people. And I think a little bit of my masculinity would have died if I’d taken it to the shop and explained all this, god bless the anonymity of the internet
  2. But looks like I need this one instead...
  3. That make a lot more sense now. Got this replacement online...
  4. Evening all. I use my 362 for firewood and some planking / milling. The other day all was fine but it wouldn’t switch off. Had to pull the spark plug in a bit of a panic!! Now I realise that I could have shorted the magneto but didn’t at the time. Looked into it a bit and think that the choke rod came out and just disappeared into a pile of sawdust somewhere. Seemed like a straight forward enough fix so ordered a new one but can’t for the life of me figure out how to fit it correctly from the switch to the valve spring. I know I could take it in to be fixed but it seemed like too simple a job to not do yourself. Can anyone send me a pic of a (working) 362 please so I can get back out and stock up for winter. Any help greatly appreciated and all piss taking completely understood.
