    Oh bugger

We used 638 and it stops the spinning, bugger to get back out though if you need to.
  2. That just makes you hungry because it smells of donuts
  3. We've got one self seeded in a tub on the garden and it's always the first thing to lose it's leaves and look dead but it comes back next year, spindly and ratty as ever. I still ignore it and it keeps surviving.
  4. I have one of those and it works fine. I refilled it with Castrol LM grease, the blue stuff it came with ran out ages ago. Make sure the grease is well packed in with no air gaps.
  5. If the cylinder cleans up you could get away with seals and a new piston. Not too bad for a decent saw. I wouldn't write it off.
  6. It's getting there, going to leave an impressive scar it's a pain about the setbacks and hope you're feeling better now. I got my right little finger crushed many years ago and it was splinted and bandaged, stitched and aspirated (fluid syringed out really painful) and you can't tell now apart from the stitch line up the inside. It'll take some healing over as it's a wide wound.
  7. Elvaston Castle woodland festival is back on, we'll be going for a few hours later on just to get out and have a look round. Weather looks good for today.

  8. It would also mean you only get to use one face so it will last about 10 minutes,
  9. I don't understand this bit, lower edge of what ? Sorry if I'm being obtuse.

    044 Gaskets

It will be paper then, scrape it off and don't worry about it it's not like you're taking a shed roof down. Blue and brown were banned in 1985 and the rest in 1999.

    044 Gaskets

Base gasket for mine was a metal one. Will yours be a 12mm little end or a 10mm ? Mine is a 12mm
  12. A friend of mine had a unit where he kept his plant and the rear door opened onto fields and was only composite ply to the outside. All the units were getting broken into from this side so inside the frame we made a 4" angle frame and a 6mm plate door with a couple of locks inside. Eventually the outside door was smashed but the inside steel plate was hardly marked.
  13. Stick it on ebay, it's a collector's piece.👍
  14. B@5tards, I've been robbed. Is car tax real ?
  15. Just a thought, Any chance of training beaver to do this ? Finally a reason for reintroducing them.
  16. Show us some pictures at least of the piston and possibly the inside of the cylinder to have some idea of the state of play. How did it get to this stage as it sounds like it had some serious misuse if it lost compression and the bearings are shot unless it left the factory with problems.
  17. 😝Any saw that does that to itself deserves everything it gets. That needs a deflector to blow the heat forwards away from the plastic.
  18. I don't understand this symptom
  19. Well she says whatever he tells you, take two inches off🙄
  20. I've found I have to open the L screw up 1/4 to 1/2 a turn making them richer and had to speed up the idle to compensate. That is on two Stihl saws and a Husqvarna.
  21. If the oil hole lines up you should be ok, pitch and drive link count is the same and they are 1.6 gauge but the 121 is listed for MS391 to use rapid micro for farm and firewood cutting and the 221 rapid super for forestry on saws like the MS441.
  22. That was Ursula Andress 🤔 in her part as Honey Ryder diving for conch shells. She was later catching crabs off Bond.
  23. I find the wide neck washing detergent bottles a good standby, save an empty then tip it in the compost when you've used it (only for wee though)
  24. That looks nasty, hope they come up with something to put it back together for you.
