  1. How thick is the oil you are running ?
  2. Do you mean use it in a saw running on pump fuel ? I've never had problems doing it with Aspen2 and it's pretty much same.
  3. Someone on opeforum made some in aluminium.
  4. Shouldn't be any duty on anything as low as £25. Threshold is something like £135 including postage.
  5. Do they look like the MS362cm or use the same carb ? They are the same colour an that's about all.
  6. Find out what kind of connector it is then you will probably get one for a couple of €. It looks like it might be a Molex type connector. Workshop manual shows the whole part as a trigger unit part number 1140 430 1000 Stihl MS 362 M-Tronic Parts List - CWM CHAINSAW-WORKSHOP-MANUAL.COM Stihl MS 362 M Tronic Chainsaw Parts Diagram
  7. Are you Buster Gonad by any chance ?
  8. That makes you 68 doesn't it. I was 70 last Sunday and I can start any of my saws in 4 pulls. That's MS460 to Husqvarna 135, toe through the back handle and a steady pull then a couple of quick ones. 044 sometimes takes a couple more on choke but it runs well. I do struggle for breath sometimes due to TB in my 30s but if you pace yourself and don't overdo it you get there eventually.
  9. I'd rather have the bolts than the self loosener 😁
  10. I got 5 litres from Aztec Oils in Bolsover for £8 and it is definitely tacky, almost stringy.
  11. How is that an old bar ? It's still got all it's paint on it.
  12. Soy sauce is not an acceptable substitute for 2 stroke oil, especially the light soy sauce 🤪
  13. Not in it's refined state with all the sulphur removed and friction modifiers, detergents etc. added. It should still last years in the container though and I've never looked at use by dates on anything except food.
  14. I'm not saying it doesn't do the job, a friend of mine has a Titan saw he's used for firewood for a few years and it also does the job with plenty of torque and was only about £50 when he bought it but my petrol saw will cut half as fast again side by side.
  15. Chain speed of 14.5m/s I don't think so☺️
  16. Friend's next door neighbour was using his saw and I commented that his chain was very slack. His answer was " It can't be it has an auto tensioner". I showed him how it works and he was a bit sheepish.
  17. Irrelevant of what they are doing, cutting wood or grinding metal electric motors cause problems with vibration and resonance, lots of people who have used angle grinders in their work now suffer from vibration white finger and circulation problems.
  18. Bloke down the road from here had two massive Leylandii topped and the bottoms are now about thirty feet across and they want levelling to the floor and rooting out but I bet he doesn't want to pay again.
  19. How'd you get that up a tree ? 🤔
  20. Is there any play in it with the chain removed ? If it still spins and is guiding the chain I would use it, it's only scorched the paint.
  21. That's going to be a pig to get your legs under the table unless you are a spry under 50 which some of us aren't
  22. Is it a road tow ? I can't see any suspension so it's B road only and 30mph so you will need it trailering home.
  23. That's going to be a hell of a splitter for £7000 what else does it do for all that cash ?
  24. Thought "This belongs in general chat or climbing"
  25. Apparently not. Sorry John can't help but Echo always seem to have an overlap when they bring out a new version like their CS-361WESand CS-362WES which also look like the same saw.
