  5. Didn't mean it is rot but the beginnings of it: if left growing it would become rotten.
  6. I've felled dozens of poplars over the years, mostly hybrid variety, and a lot of them dark like yours, I always assumed it was the start of rot the same as with ash

  8. Saw this on Look East! With the council guy sayin it wouldn't increase fly tipping, what a load of bollocks, fly tippin been gettin worse n worse as they keep changing regs/closing dumps, happens almost daily on an estate I work on, and don't get me started on McDonald's wrappers!
  9. I don't think you've got an issue. A lot of my friends and colleagues hav big sheds that they do all sorts in from wood turning to rebuilding bikes and machinery and usually there's some crossover use into their business including people hanging about drinking tea/coffee loading unloading stuff. You never said whether he specifically said he was gonna claim you run a business from there? Just ignore him n crack on wi life

  15. Did you sort it? Had this happen before, checked cutters- even, bar- dressed, groove- snug, me baffled! On close inspection of chain the links/straps were peened heavily on one side so when not running looked level but under load lent over
  16. Yes I thought that, quite a lot of dosh for touching up, wonder if yo could make a jig t gone a dremmel?
  17. I paid £ 360 to have Valmet brought to Norfolk from nr Winchester
